Tomorrow night is a big night for boxing, as Pound for Pound King and World Welterweight Champion “Pretty Boy” Floyd Mayweather and Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton will face off against each other a twelve round championship fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV.
These two gladiators, who happen to be in their primes, boast a combined professional record of 81-0. As it generally comes with the territory when there are big fights, I will be heading to Miami Mike’s Sports Zone, formerly known as the Bistro, with best friend Billy G and some other folks to view the championship fight and enjoy some food and drinks. It should be a truly spectacular evening. Miami Mike’s happens to be the same site where I viewed previous mega fights such as De la hoya/Mayweather (back on May 5, also with Billy G and HBO employee Tommy Lenox) and Hopkins/Wright (on July 21).
My discovery of this sports bar back in May was truly a blessing, as Miami Mike’s is the ideal place for this boxing fanatic to go when it comes to viewing big pay per view match ups! Tomorrow night marks my third visit to the remarkable sports bar and I am looking forward to going over there to watch this fight.
