Anticipation of NYE celebration as we exit 2009!

Ladies and gentlemen, we are less than eight hours away from a new year as well as a brand new decade when the ball drops in Time Square and 2010 is ushered in. Some people embrace New Years as their favorite time of the year, taking the holiday as their opportunity to reevaluate what they want in life and how a new year could potentially be different. It's also an appropriate time to eat, drink, and have a few parties!

In what has become a New Years Eve tradition for yours truly, I will once again be heading down to the Milek beach house in Lavallette, NJ to celebrate NYE with some friends of mine. We always have a blast when we're down there together. Tonight we'll be going to Bamboo Bar in Seaside Heights, where there is a $30 cover charge for three hours of free food and drinks. That's definitely a sweet deal; this is indeed our consecutive year going to Bamboo. Those expected in attendance will Mike, Angela, Chris, Chris's friend Rob, Greg Root and myself. CD squared will probably arrive in Lavallette on Saturday, as will the Schloemers. As you can see, this should be a pretty eventful weekend.

My new year, immediately following the conclusion of this highly anticipated weekend of play time and celebration, will begin on Monday morning with an interview for a high paying state job. Talk about getting off to a good start, hey? I'm treating that interview very seriously and I look forward to making a legitimate case for my qualifications regarding the job. There's no sugarcoating the year 2009; itwas a tough year for many families throughout the country and it went by relatively fast. However, whatever doesn't kill us only makes us that much stronger. In what was a year plagued with layoffs, a rising unemployment rate, government healthcare reform debates, and other setbacks, it is essential that we remain hopeful that the following the year will be better.

Nonetheless, positive highlights of the year were the marriage of Ray and Melissa Schloemer, their move into their apartment in Monmouth Junction, and Mike and Chris Milek's acquisition of their condo in Princeton, NJ. I can only hope that I have as decent of a year as those folks had this year. As I celebrate NYE tonight, I remain optimistic that there is a light at the end of the tunnel that will take all of us into 2010 and beyond.

Everyone have a Happy New Year. May 2010 be happy and prosperous for the lot of you. Let there be light. Let there be progress. Let there be prosperity.

Earlier this morning, I went down to Shoprite to pick up some margarine sticks for mashed potatoes as well as Redi Whip for the pumpkin pie. We're ready for the Thanksgiving Day feast. Throughout what has been a tough year, it is essential to be thankful for what one does have. Family, friends, and acquaintances who are close by. Food and drink. Even the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade in New York City, which is what I am watching right now. I've seen the Shrek balloon, Ronald McDonald balloon, Kermit the Frog balloon, and even a Smurf balloon. In fact the news broadcasters announced that there would be a Smurf movie released in 2011. Santa Claus is about to come to town, as he always does at the end of the parade.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Today is in fact my 29th birthday and I am grateful to have made it another year. I spent the day drinking the bottle of Chardonnay I bought last night. The actual birthday celebration will take place on Saturday night at Sona 13 in Morristown! God bless each and everyone of the people who wished me a Happy Birthday. The love that has been shown to me today has been tremendous! Saturday night, anybody who is coming out is going to have one hell of a time. I'm giving you all an exciting night that you deserve as much as I do. We're going to light Jersey up like a Christmas tree in early-November! Get ready to have FUN ladies and gentlemen; Saturday night will ROCK. I appreciate all birthday wishes. God bless you all!

Chris Christie wins NJ gubernatorial race!

Four years ago in his inaugural address, he said to the hopeful residents of the state of NJ, "Hold me accountable." Well guess what Jon? Collectively,we did just that!

Yesterday was Election Day and we saw a passing of the torch, as GOP challenger Chris Christie upset democratic incumbent Jon Corzine for the NJ governor seat in Trenton. Christie won 49% of the votes, while Corzine took 45%. Admittedly I voted for the independent Chris Daggett, as I believe he was the most logical choice of the three candidates. As a free and independent thinker who takes into account productivity and performance throughout an administration on any level, rather than automatically gravitating to the right or left, I believe that the correct candidate won in this case.

Over the last four years, this state has suffered from failed leadership that I feel has grown increasingly disasterous. When property taxes increase, sales taxes go up, and unemployment reaches record high levels (now 10% in the state of NJ), you are left with a state of troubled residents who are hurting badly. People can not make money because they are unable to find employment and they can not afford to buy a house even if they are employed because taxes are through the roof. Job loss, under Corzine's administration, has been abysmal - even prior to the time at which the recession hit the nation in December of 2007. As Christie said in a recent televised interview, our state is having the worst time out of any of the states in the tri-state area.

Those who view this as a referendum against President Barack Obama are likely mistaking. The fact of the matter is that Obama took 57% of the votes last year for his United States presidential race in the state of NJ and I happen to support him. He has given a worthy account of himself as it pertains to bringing the nation's economy back from the brink. Back in 2005, democratic voters had much more more confidence in Corzine, who defeated republican Doug Forrester by 15 points. Keep in mind, this was during the wildly unpopular second presidential term of republican George W. Bush. Obama, who on the contrary is a popular democratic president, was campaigning vigorously for Corzine in his bid for re-election, in what has traditionally been a blue state.

Corzine spent over twice as much money [approximately $24 million of his own money as opposed to $12 million] as Christie for his campaign and still some how managed to lose. This does not come as a concidence to me folks and it should not come as a coincidence to you either. No amount of money can repair or pay for a failed track record. Every now and then, people will prove their ability to think independently for themselves. This particular election had more to do with local and municipal issues than it did with President Obama. Not all of us are blind sheep, unconditionally supporting one party, and one one party only, regardless of how incompetent some of that party's leaders may be. Rest assured there are fuck ups in both the Democratic and Republican parties and that will always be the case.

Ladies and gentlemen, prosperity and a better way of life can not be attained, until justice is served in the struggle between successful leadership and failed leadership regardless of which political party you support. That's not just in the state of NJ, but also the country as a whole. Having said that, I can live with the fact that Christie has defeated Corzine. I have never been, and never will be, an advocate of rewarding failure. You can not simply assume that a leader, who has failed to live up to expectations when he was first elected, will automatically do better in the second term if he is re-elected. In this tough economic times, trust is waring thin and we must go about a different apprach in correcting the wrong doing.

Let's do away with the distorted ideology that one should feel the need to move to another state if their way of life is not up to par right here in this state! That ideology is over! Let's bring jobs back to the state of NJ! Let's get those property and sales taxes back down again! That way, folks of my generation can finally have steady employment again and will be able to buy a house before they're 40 years old. Upon his election last November, I did not expect President Obama to fix all of the country's mishaps with a magic wand, nor do I expect Governor Christie to do the same for our state beginning next year. All I ask for is hard work through good faith and a track record of taking the necessary steps to get our state moving in the right direction again. Both politicians were left with a disgusting mess due to the unjustifiable incompetence of their predecessors.

This blogger is ready to see what the Governor-Elect can do for this state when he takes office on January 17, 2010 and awaits his efforts in the near future. There are a couple of issues I strongly disagree with Christie about, such as his disapproval of gay marriage and full fledged support of insurance companies, but I think he is the less of the two evils. While I heavily criticized Corzine's administration, I will not get too high on Christie just yet. I am just an independent free thinker who intends to give the fresh face a fair chance to prove himself.

I also congratulate independent NY Mayor Mike Bloomberg for securing a victory over democratic candidate Bill Thompson. Bloomberg won narrowly by a margin of 52% to 48%. This will be Bloomberg's third term as the mayor of NY.

The governator says Fuck You to law makers!

Nobody can mess with the Governator. As you may recall in the 1985 film Commando, Schwarzenegger who plays John Matrix, gets into a fight in a motel room with a former green beret. The green beret, played by actor Bill Duke, says, "fuck you asshole" as he's about to shoot Matrix. With the gun being out of bullets, Matrix replies, "Fuck YOU asshole" and impaled the green beret on a broken table leg, killing him instantly.

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) recently exuded a rather similar boldness, albeit not nearly as violent, basically telling law makers to go fuck themselves through a hidden message in an unsigned Assembly Bill that he sent to the California State Assembly.

Goes to show that you can not mess with the Governator. He will fuck up your day if you cross him with nonsense. LOL.

Ready for Halloween weekend at the shore!

Ladies and gentlemen, it is that time of year again. Halloween is once again here and we all know what that means don't we? The fact that my birthday is five days later?

While that remains a tried and true follow up to All Hallows Eve, the fact that Halloween is upon us would signify that we have once again reached the point where we can get dressed up in costumes and go out to a club to have some drinks. Furthermore, it's an incentive for all of the hot women to dress slutty in their flesh-revealing costumes, whether it be the black kitty cat, the French maid, or the nurse just to name a few. What a threesome that would be, eehhh??

Later this afternoon, I will be making the trek down to Mike's beach house in Lavallette where the festivities are set to begin for the weekend. Those in attendance throughout the weekend will be Mike, his brother Chris, Chris's friend Rob, Angela, the Schloemers, Beanie, her boy friend Chris, Greg Root, yours truly, and possibly others I have failed to make note of. On Halloween night, the entire gang will be going to Jenk's night club in Point Pleasant. Our original plans were to celebrate Halloween at Bamboo in Seaside as we did last year, but Bamboo saw fit to throw their Halloween party tonight - Friday, October 30 - which makes absolutely no sense to me at all! Does it make sense to any of you? I didn't think so.

Bamboo must be the only night club in the area that is celebrating Halloween the night before Halloween. Granted that would be justifiable if Halloween fell on a week night, such as a Monday, Tuesday, or Wedensday. However, Halloween is on a Saturday this year, so why exactly is Bamboo having their party on Friday? I don't know, but Jenks is certainly a worthy change of plan.

B-Money hasn't been to Jenks in almost four years, so I am definitely looking forward to attending their Halloween party tomorrow night! Children, remember to say trick or treat tomorrow night when you make your way from house to house. As for me tomorrow night, I think it's fair to say that a trick would more or less serve as a worthy treat from a perverted standpoint. LOL.

Indian summer brings in a UFC robbery as well as Halloween and B-Money's 29th birthday soon to come!

The last couple of days have brought about Indian summer, as it was 70 degrees yesterday. Even though it rained and there was thunder and lightening, the temperatures were at least bareable. Once again today, the weather is pretty nice. While the temperatures are not as mild today as they were yesterday, it still feels comfortable enough to be outside.

Halloween falls on a Saturday this year. I could not think of a better day than Saturday for Halloween. On Friday night, Beanie and I will commuting together down to Mike's beach house in Lavallette where all of us will once again be celebrating Halloween. We're all going to Bamboo on Saturday evening. It has been a few months since the last time we've been down in Lavallette, so I am delighted that we'll going down there again in less than a week. That should be a truly spectacular event.

In a couple of weeks, the week following Halloween, B-Money has another birthday coming up. On November 5, I will be 29 years old. It feels like I just I just celebrated my 28th birthday yesterday. Nothing is completely set in stone as of yet, but it's looking like my birthday celebration will indeed take place on Saturday, November 7 in Morristown - probably at Sona13. The last two years in a row, I have celebrated my birthday at the Grasshopper so we will probably switch it up a bit this year.

Last night was UFC 104, as light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machita defended his title against Shogun Rua. The fight was scheduled for five rounds and went to the scorecards in what was a very unpopular decision. Machita was awarded the decision victory in a fight in which Shogun appeared to win at least four rounds in the eyes of most viewers. I can't speak for anyone else, but I find it interesting that so many people dismiss boxing as a credible sport, due to unpopular scoring and currupt decisions.

Shogun was clearly robbed last night. Lesson learned to all of the skeptics of boxing who cry corruption; it can happen in any sport in which money is involved.

Newark airport security guard threatens President Obama's life!

I've been idle from blogging for quite some time, but if any story was going to prompt my return it was the story I read today. President Obama was flying into the Newark Liberty International Airport this week in order to campaign for Governor Corzine in his upcoming election against Republican challenger Chris Christie. Security guard John Brek, 55, employed by FJC Security Services, had planned to assassinate President Obama upon his arrival. According to Security Management.com, Brek is being held on $220,000 bail bond having plead not guilty to three felony charges

As quoted in the article:

Inside Brek's home, police found a tiny armory: eight handguns and 35 rifles, all legal. But they also found 50 rounds of 44-caliber, 240 grain-jacketed Remington hollow point bullets—infamously referred to as "cop-killer" bullets because they can pierce police bullet-proof vests—and a rifle that was reported stolen 11 years ago in Alabama.

Anything but patriotic ladies and gentlemen. When one is not happy with the way the country is being run, assassinating the President of the United States is hardly a solution. Notice how they never try to kill the dummies; always the intelligent ones who try to improve life in the home land through good faith. Kennedy was assassinated, and much like Obama, he was a intelligent man who was trying to do good. Obama now walks in the same shoes and it is at risk of the same fate. Disgusting.

Not only the act itself is dispicable, but the fact that it was a security guard at an airport in my state!!!!!! As if the state of NJ didn't already have enough problems. Now we have airport security attempting to murder the President of the United States? Something is seriously fucked up with that picture.

A Labor Day well spent

Yesterday I woke up to take a shower so I could hit the road by 1pm to head down to Edison, where the Milek brothers were hosting a Labor Day get together.

Our Labor Day was well spent, as we ordered pizza and drank some beer out on the deck. I brought a 12 pack of Yuengling and smoked a couple Dutch Master cigars just for the occasion. For the record, I am not addicted to cigars. Certainly not as addicted to cigars as I am to facebook. Yes, the facebook addiction is just a little bit out of control.

Speaking of facebook, I logged on yesterday prior to hitting the road to head down to Edison, when I noticed a friend request. Who friend requested me on facebook? *drumroll* My mother. LOL. Fair enough, she was granted the add. Now she gets to see the nutsy times I have.

Happy September folks.

Summer just came and went this year! That's not necessarily a bad thing, as summer has been somewhat chaotic and brought me some bad luck. Looking ahead, its safe to assume that I am ready for Fall after what has been a turbulent summer. Ray and Mel's wedding took place in Deptford back on August 22, in what I would refer to as one of the positive highlights of the summer.

Clearly, the wedding was one of the biggest and best events of the summer. I was one of the groomsmen, in what was a beautiful wedding that was followed up with a wonderful reception. It was great to see some familiar faces I had not seen in years, such as Anna Salazar and Jeremy Smith. B-Money even had the opportunity to meet a few new faces. There you see a picture of me, looking as good as ever. At the age of 28, I'm still one handsome son of bitch!

That time of year has once again resurfaced, as we're back to wearing hoodies again, the leaves on the trees changing color, Halloween stores re-opening, B-Money's 29th birthday exactly two months from , and temperatures just chilly enough to be fresh in the morning. I'm waiting for my windshield's first morning frost. Don't push it weather: *notice I said frost, not a TWO INCH SHEET OF ICE.*

It's been a while since I posted anything, but much has changed since my last update. I won't necessarily comment as to whether it's for the better or worse. All you need to know is that we as people are all put to the test, but we're never put to that test at a time that we would prefer. Unexpected monkey wrenches can hit you from left field at the moment you least suspect. I believe that has happened to me a few times this year and it has been unfortunate.

Sometimes it feels like the world is one massive delusion that millions of people are chasing, with many of them mislead, oppressed, and left in a state of confusion. So daunting the social and economic ways of life can be, when the foundation is set a top quick sand. Difficult these days for me to trust anybody or anything. End of the day, it's just Me, Myself, and I. You do you, while I do me. Allow me to move on to some other topics.

However, some people actually have their own answers for the world when it shits in their face. Nothing says lovin' like a middle-aged couple sucking face in front of Dunkin Donuts, then both of them lighting up their celebratory post-smooch cigarettes immediately afterwards, romantically basking in their delicious, lustful, smoke-filled embrace! I witnessed such a spectacle with my own two eyes while sitting in the parking lot drinking my cup of coffee. Cigarettes following a passionate kiss in front of Dunkin Donuts? Sooo special! I wonder what happens following a steamy session in the bedroom?!? Do they make the transition from cigarettes to toking up on BONG???

Facebook has become more of an addiction that I thought. It is way too easy and convenient for me to log on, be nosy and see what everyone else is doing, and to take satisfaction in the attention devoted to me from others! Last week I deactivated my facebook account in a failed attempt to pry myself away from it for a while, but I found myself re-activating the account when I logged back on 15 minutes later. What can I say? I'm addicted and I am not afraid to admit it. Better to be addicted to facebook than nicotine I suppose.

B-Money is quite fond of facebook and loves his facebook family, friends and fans. I will not be leaving facebook anytime soon; my addiction simply will not free me from its grasp. It's like two pigs in mating season. When they get down to business, the male corkscrews himself in there and that bitch is stuck for at least five days whether she like it or not. Yep, that's facebook and I, but my grasp has progressed a hell of a lot longer than five days!

You know what else I'm fond of? Having dinner with best friends. Therefore, I'm going to meet Beanie at Ruby Tuesdays for dinner in a few moments. Everyone have a Happy Labor Day weekend and stay tuned for some updates next week.

there are simply way too many of you out there for it to ring true for every single one of you!

Regardless of the impression you might get from them, most girls want to engage in sexual activity behind closed doors just as much as guys do. I'm not stupid; the ladies will never admit it. I've met a lot of "relationship-type" girls and I clearly recall how many of those encounters ended. None of them wanted to have fun; all they wanted was a relationship. LMAO. Yeah, right.

General perception is that guys are considered dirty players if they want to get down in the bedroom. All of us are just so filthy and guilty of perverted playa'ship. Girls, on the other hand, really want to get down under the sheets just as bad as we do. While they would give just about anything to ride a disco stick or two, they prefer to put on the facade of ladies who claim to be 'looking for relationships' in order to prevent the distinction and judgement of being skanky.

There are so many of you relationship-happy women out there, but I can see through the act and realize that many of you are really just hurtin' for a squirtin'! Those are the irrefutable facts, my ovary-possessing human counterparts. Many of you may not like me saying it. Don't hate me ladies, I am just telling the truth! MUAH!!!!!!!

Relationships are fine, but so is having fun (when you're not in one) and you know you want to have fun as much as we do, so STOP with the total good girl act.

Criminal background and credit checks pass: 57 more days until the big move!

I have just received word that Mike and I have both passed our criminal background and credit checks for the apartment in Royal Oaks, so the move is indeed officially a go for October 1. We’re only 57 short days away from freedom. Fifty seven days away from living the way that we want to live. Fifty seven days away from when I finally enter a brand new chapter in life, which could potentially be one of the finest chapters in a long time. I’m due for a make over in my life. I’m ready to embrace the changes to make some of these changes I have wanted to make for a while now. Royal Oaks, here we come!

This was a truly spectacular weekend, which kicked of what is going to be a busy and active month of August. Between a potential birthday celebration, bachelor party, wedding (in which I am a groomsmen), a best friend flying in from Las Vegas, and other excitment, B-Money is practically booked for the month of August!

*NOTE* I said August 1. Move in date at Royal Oaks is OCTOBER 1. Not that you couldn't figure that out yourselves by now. LOL.

B-Money completes Tsunami Challenge in just 11 minutes!

Mike and I did the Tsunami Challenge earlier today at Surf Taco. Officially the two of us finished in eleven minutes. That is the time that will be recorded by the wait staff, but Mike may very well have finished seconds before I did. It's difficult to tell who really finished first. There was a dispute at the beginning of the challenge, as the clock started and Mike had to call a halt believing he got the wrong burrito. Mike ordered his burrito with no meat and extra beans, while I ordered mine with no beans and extra meat. Ray and Mel ended up with Mike's order and visa versa, so they switched burritos and the challenge was soon underway. In the end, he had the right burrito and it was determined by the wait staff that we both finished in eleven minutes. That is perfectly fine by me. Therefore, I beat Greg Root's time of 14:40 by three minutes and forty seconds. WOW! Pictures and video coverage of the event are soon to follow. Stay tuned!

Beautiful day at Ocean Beach!

Today was the perfect day to go to the shore, as the sun was out and temperatures were perfect for tanning and swimming. I had the privledge of being able to tan and swim at Ocean Beach today. It was totally exhilarating. Enjoy the video!

Our move to Royal Oaks is official for October 1!!!

At approximately one o'clock earlier this afternoon, Mike Milek (the dude who's picture with me in the previous post - also dude who's going down faster than his burrito this Saturday at Surf Club, LOL) and I decided that we will officially be moving to Royal Oaks in South Brunswick, NJ. Our move in date will be October 1. This is excellent news. Like I said a couple of times, look out for updates regarding my future endeavors at Royal Oaks. That's right, ladies and gentlemen. Plans to make this happen have been in the works for a while now. We had planned on moving in around mid-October, but we asked the complex what they had available. They happen to have a two bedroom apartment available for October 1, so we accepted that apartment and that move-in date. Very exciting stuff! More to come, so stay tuned for this developing story.

"Mike has stated on numerous occasions that he is going to kick my ass in that challenge, but what he doesn’t realize is that he’s going down in this competition faster than his burrito!"

This summer has taken B-Money down an interesting, controversial, and sometimes frustrating path in terms of his personal life, but there have been some high points as well. My 4th of July was well spent in Edison.

A couple weeks ago, Mike and I helped Ray and Mel move into their new apartment at Royal Oaks apartment complex in South Brunswick. More to come very soon regarding Royal Oaks, as there could be a serious update in terms of my future endeavors with that complex! I refuse to unveil any information at this point in time. Anybody who lives in NJ knows that June was a rainy month, whereas July was a hot, humid, and sunny month. The month of August is sure to be a busy month.

Each and every one of my weekends will be booked with an event, starting with the one this weekend. I am looking forward to the upcoming weekend at the shore house in Lavallette. We always have a blast when we spend weekends down there. To be honest, I’m not quite sure who exactly is going this time around. Those who will definitely be in attendance, of course, are Mike, Chris and yours truly. Greg Root’s attendance has not yet been confirmed. I believe Ray and Mel will be joining us on Saturday. Angela will be arriving on Saturday as well. I’m not sure if Beanie’s going; haven’t talked to her in a while!

You may recall Greg’s Tsunami Challenge at Surf Taco on New Years weekend back in January. He just barely beat the challenge with twenty seconds to spare, consuming the two foot burrito in 14 minutes and 40 seconds. On Saturday night, both Mike and I will attempt to defeat Greg by beating his time of 14:40, but we will also be going up against in each other in our own competition. Mike has stated on numerous occasions that he is going to kick my ass in that challenge, but what he doesn’t realize is that he’s going down in this competition faster than his burrito! LOL. Stay tuned over the weekend for video coverage of that competition!

Given the corruption that has recently taken place in our fair state, who really needs the race for NJ governor between incumbent Jon Corzine and challenger Chris Christie after all??? Come out to Surf Taco on Saturday night and witness a more legitimate race. Hahahahaha.

We’re getting pretty close to the day of Mr. Schloemer’s bachelor party, which will take place on the evening of August 15 at Hot 22 in Union. That is the same location at which Scott’s memorable bachelor party took place five years ago. Come August 22, we’ll all be on hand to witness the moment at which Mel and Ray both say the words, “I do.”

Over the weekend, the sport of boxing lost one of its most courageous warriors. Widely regarded as Boxing’s Ultimate Blood and Guts Warrior, former two-time world champion Arturo Gatti, 37, was found dead in his hotel room on Saturday in Brazil. A purse strap, stained with Gatti’s blood, was found in the hotel room leading investigators to believe that Gatti was strangled to death.

Police officers recently arrested Gatti’s wife, Amanda Rodrigues, whom they believe to be the murder suspect in Gatti’s death. When questioned by police how she did not realize for nearly 10 hours that Gatti was dead when she was in the room with him, Rodrigues was at a loss for words and unable to answer the question. Right about now, Rodrigues would appear to be guilty. Upon her conviction one can only hope that she remains in a jail cell for the rest of her life, with her entire life to think about what she has done while locked up. Boxing has lost one of its good men at a very young age.

Nobody could ever claim that this man ducked or dodged anybody when he was active as a fighter. Win or lose, he's fought a who's who of champions and contenders: Angel Manfredy, Ivan Robinson, Micky Ward, Oscar De la hoya, Floyd Mayweather Jr, Carlos Baldomir, and others. Clearly he was boxing's human highlight reel. I am deeply saddened by his untimely passing.

Now that I have discussed his passing, what are your fondest memories and favorite fights of Arturo Gatti?

He was in so many spectacular, crowd pleasing fights over the years. His fight with Wilson Rodriguez at the theater in Madison Square Garden on March 23, 1996 (only the 2nd installment of HBO Boxing After Dark), might be one of the greatest fights I've EVER seen. His come from behind, 6th round stoppage of Rodriguez has to rank at the top of my list as one of the bravest efforts I have ever witnessed on behalf of a prize fighter.

Next round, with his eyes practically swollen shut, Gatti would knock Rodriguez out cold! Nothing quite defines the meaning of the term heart more appropriately than Gatti’s performance and will to win in that fight.

After his final ring appearance two years ago this very day, which resulted in a 6th round knockout loss at the hands of Alfonso Gomez in Atlantic City, NJ, Gatti retired with a professional career record of 40-9 and 31 knockouts.

My sincere condolences go out to Gatti's family and friends.

Things I have accomplished that I am thankful for!

In the midst of a recession, I am thrilled and impressed with how much I have accomplished over the last few months. Going from one job to another, in the midst of a recession, I put myself in a position where I make more money than I did before while performing work that is more suitable and less stressful. I feel a greater and more noble sense of achievement at my current job.

I also feel some sense of authority, realizing that I am scoring and judging the performance of so many employees on a day to day basis. These conclusions that I come to at the end of the day can potentially determine how much revenue does or does not go to the company. However, I'm a brainiac with a sharp mind. I don't feel any pressure under those circumstances because I know I'm doing what I have to do. At this time I continue to travel down a path of prosperity that will only see a positive light and a bright future ahead.

Having made it through some tough times and weathering several storms, I'm ready to discover the greener pastures that lie ahead. Receiving the bonus that was given to me yesterday was a significant game changer on my march down the glorious path towards prosperity, as that puts me in a better place regarding my Capital One credit card balance that is going down as well as my savings account which is one again growing. In analyzing the progress I have successfully made in attempting to better my way of life, let us exam the dynamic steps I have taken thus far.

I have been able to move from one job to another that pays on a higher pay scale.
I paid off my entire NJM auto insurance balance for the year 2009 back in May.
I switched cellular phone servers, from T-Mobile to Verizon, significantly reducing my monthly cell phone bills and granting myself unlimited text messaging with most of friends who are also Verizon subscribers.
I have dedicated myself at work with serious maximum efforts, for which I have not reached in YEARS, to the extent that I am the proud earner of a nice bonus payment come Wednesday when I get my check. Supervisor told me yesterday, in quote, "Employees don't normally get bonuses so quickly, but you are ahead of the curve!"

All of this was accomplished on my behalf in the midst of an economic recession, through determination, hard work, dedication, common sense, strategy, and smarts. Each and every one of these accomplishments have contributed to putting me in a better spot than I was before. Is the best yet to come? You better believe so! B-Money has only just begun. Ladies and gentlemen, we are all pieces on a gigantic chess board. You are all the masters, the Presidents, of your own lives. Where I go and how fast I arrive is all a question of strategy and common sense on my behalf. B-Money, the creme de la creme, is going straight to the top baby!

Bruno was pretty funny; Borat still slightly better over all!

Last night, Mike, Angela, Chris, Beanie, her boyfriend, and myself all went to see Bruno, starring Ali G's Sacha Baron Cohen who also starred as Borat, at the AMC theater at the Rockaway Mall. Just how good was Bruno?

I thought Bruno was a pretty funny movie, but how how did it rank in comparison with Borat. Bruno may have had funnier scenes than Borat overall, but I felt Borat's character was more developed and that movie had a more consistent plot which translates to a movie that is consistently more comical.

As a character, Bruno is a flagrantly homosexual fashion journalist who yearns to become world famous. The actions he takes in order to become famous are to be discovered by you when and if you make to theaters to see this movie.

If I thought Cohen pushed the line of moral constraint with Borat three years ago, he crossed the line in a full fledged sprint with this particular movie - everything right down to pouring a glass of of champagne out of a champagne bottle that's lodged in his boyfriend's ass. Overall, I thought Bruno was a good movie with a number of funny scenes, pictures, and sound bytes, but The Hangover remains by far the funniest movie I have seen this summer and one of the funniest movies I have seen in years.

After the movie, we all headed to Cliff's Ice Cream in Ledgewood to enjoy some ice cream before parting ways for the evening. As usual Mike ordered his usual ginormous skycraper cone. LOL.

Right now I'm just waiting for Mike, Angela, and Chris to arrive at the Rockaway Mall so Beanie and her boyfriend can meet up with us and we can go see Bruno. I just wanted to take a little bit of time before hand to discuss just how grateful I am to receive a bonus this month.

My bonus was a substantially high amount and that will accelerate the process of getting to the point in my life that I visualize myself being at. As you all know, Capital One balance is coming back down again at reasonably fast pace after I used it to pay for the automobile repair I had over a month ago. By the end of this month, I will be back to having a $0 credit card balance, which once again feels absolutely phenomenal. In regards to the bonus money I'm getting Wednesday, I'm delighted to finally be getting rewarded for kicking ass at work like it's nobodies business. That bonus was beautiful.

B-Money is currently at the top of his game ladies and gentlemen! The odd adage is totally true. You just can't keep a champion down. Weekend is here, though. The time has come to go see what is supposed to be a really funny movie. Come Monday morning, I'll be kicking ass even HARDER because that's what I was put there to do and I don't know too many people who can kick ass much better. There's plenty of obligations and priorities on my plate at this time. Next weekend, Mike and I are helping to soon-to-be wed move into their new apartment at Royal Oaks in Monmouth Junction. More to follow in regards to Royal Oaks, as I have a few surprises up my sleeve in the coming weeks and months. We also have the bachelor party coming up next month, as well as the wedding!

Gas prices are going down and I'm gradually replenishing all savings accounts. Damn, I'm good. As good as I am, once again I am even more GRATEFUL! Thank you God. When you think about it, I'm the president of my own life managing multiple tasks and doing an outstanding job! Time for me to go see Bruno. Remember folks, if you can't B-Money, then you just can't be serious!

I am extremely grateful for the extra bonus money that I will be receiving on pay day this coming Wednesday.

This is a Friday that just got much, much better ladies and gentlemen. Approximately an hour ago, my supervisor informed me that I am receiving a monthly bonus this month and he showed me the amount that I will be getting. When I looked at the amount, I almost had a heart attack. That is a nice sized bonus; it definitely made my day!!! I am extremely grateful for the extra bonus money that I will be receiving on pay day this coming Wednesday. What a wonderful Friday this has turned out to be! Furthermore, I look forward to going to the movies tonight to see Bruno, starring Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat, 2006), with Mike, Chris, and Beanie. I’ve heard mixed reviews about that movie, but I’m hoping it’s a funny movie and I’m expecting as much.

Who ever said truck drivers were the safest drivers??? I love how some people actually believe truck drivers are the safest drivers on the highway. That assumption is absolutely not true. Most of the accidents I see on the highway are over turned tractor trailers. On my commute to work this morning, I was delayed by an over turned tractor trailer. This was an accident, nonetheless, that did not involve a second vehicle. Are truck drivers really the safest drivers on the road? Let me clue you in on a little news flash. I'm a safer and better driver than just about all of them! Over the course of eleven years, nobody has ever seen me standing on the side of the road in sporting filthy tank top, calling AAA on my mobile phone because I drove my vehicle into a spooning position! LOL.

As I was driving on my commute to work this morning, I noticed a car moving pretty slow in front of me. Eventually I passed the vehicle, noticing that it was a woman applying eyeliner and preparing her face for the day while looking in the mirror. Forget about the fact that she could have gotten a ticket or a hefty fine for her careless driving habits. Heaven forbid she was driving fast enough and collided with another car, she might not have those pretty eyes anymore. She might even have a cute little eyeliner stick hanging out her head where her eyes used to be. Furthermore, she could’ve gotten into an accident and caused bodily harm or much worse, a fatality, to herself or others. Not cool at all. Lesson learned ladies: Either put your faces together at home before getting into the car to drive to work, or in the parking lot, with your car in PARK, before you get out of the car to go into work.

This is sure to be a truly reinvigorating weekend of drinking, eating, and socializing.

The 4th of July holiday weekend is practically here ladies and gentlemen. My employer is scheduled to have its company picnic/volleyball game tomorrow at the local park. In what I believe is the politically correct action to take, I will be attending the picnic, but I will not be playing volleyball. As an employee who critiques and scores the performance of most of the employees at my job, it would feel like a conflict of interest for me to act buddy-buddy with them and play volleyball with them for an entire afternoon. That’s just my way of thinking and how I perceive that particular situation.

The company will also be getting pizza for all of the employees, which I am extremely grateful for, but I’m really looking forward to 5PM when my 4th of July weekend will officially kick off. I’ll be at Mike’s house in Edison this weekend, where the 4th of July festivities will be taking place. That is the location at which 4th of July was celebrated last year as well. I’m looking forward to having some drinks as well as some good food. Those in attendence at various points throughout the weekend will include Greg, Ray, Mel, Mike, Chris, Angela, and yours truly! Tomorrow night we’ll be heading out to the Stress Factory in New Brunswick to see Joe DeRosa, who has previously made appearances on Comedy Central. Fourth of July weekend is the heart and soul of the summer, as well as our Independence Day as Americans, so it is essential that we make the most of such a fine weekend and live it up!

Other than the much anticipated holiday weekend upcoming, I am delighted to admit that my credit card balance is coming back down again. My savings account is gradually being replenished on my behalf after debiting a large amount of the money from that account to pay off some expenses earlier this year. Credit card debt down; savings up, that is indeed the way to go. That is how I like to roll. B-Money is heading in the right direction. I’m continuing to focus on the bright light of prosperity that lies ahead. Let the good times roll my friends. This is sure to be a truly reinvigorating weekend of drinking, eating, and socializing. A little drunken socializing and fraternizing in the name and celebration of patriotism never hurt anybody, right?

I'm looking forward to 4th of July weekend!

Today I am grateful that it is payday. I’m grateful for the fact that I'm employed and the fact that I have great friends, upcoming events, and positive people who give me awesome compliments. Yes, for the most part the money is going to other places, accounts, and a variety of obligations that I have to meet. However, it’s great to get paid regardless. I choose not to elaborate much on a gloomy past. Why turn around and check out the long, dark, and dismal looking tunnel behind me when the bright light and fortune is ahead? I’m looking forward to 4th of July weekend as well as a probable return to Stress Factory this Friday night. More details to follow in a future post coming very soon. The weekend that started with The Hangover!

After getting out of work at about 5PM yesterday, I went over to Mike's house in Edison to meet up with Mike, Chris, and Angela. Along the way, I ended up getting lost on Rt 27, which goes out into the middle of absolutely no where once you get beyond New Brunswick!

You actually go through the South Brunswick/Monmouth Junction area, which is a pretty nice little area, but once you make your way South of that point, you're out in the middle of nowhere. All of a sudden I noticed a building with a banner on it that contained a telephone number with a 609 area code, which was my queue to turn around immediately!

I made my way back up North, with the help of the directions that Mike text messaged me, and made a right turn at the Wawa that is located in North Brunswick to get back onto Rt 1 again. Not a fun ride at all; getting lost and hitting traffic is never fun (the two of them combined is almost as bad as Chinese water torture). Eventually I finally arrived at Mike's house at approximately 7:45 PM.

Usually I take the Garden State Parkway to Rt 27, which dumps me off in Mike's area right around Wood Ave, but this time I took I-287 to Rt 27 as a shortcut and it backfired on me big time. Once I got to Mike's house, we all took off and went to the North Brunswick Pub on Rt 1 for dinner. After dinner we went to the movie theater at the Menlo Park Mall to see The Hangover (from the director of Old School). That had to be the funniest movie I've seen in five years. B-Money gives it two thumbs up.

The four main characters in the movie are Phil, Alan, Stu, and Doug. Doug is a bachelor who has a wedding coming up. These four guys are friends who decide to throw Doug a bachelor party in Las Vegas, but their party gets out of hand after going up on the roof of the hotel they're staying at to enjoy a celebratory toast. They discover in the midst of their hangover the next morning that they misplaced their bachelor at some point during their alcohol and drug induced escapades from the previous night! LMAO. That's all I am going to tell you, ladies and gentlemen.

Do you want to see all of the trouble and funny shit these guys go through during their drunkenness as well as their adventure to find their bachelor friend? Go see The Hangover, which is currently playing in theaters. Some guys just can't handle Vegas! That was a laugh I sorely needed after all that happened earlier this week.

UPDATE: According to TMZ, Dr. Conrad Robert Murray is currently in Los Angeles. He is preparing to speak with law enforcement officials regarding the death of Michael Jackson.

Apparently Michael Jackson's doctor, who has been identified as Dr. Conrad Robert Murray, was living with Jackson and gave him a shot of Demerol at approximately 11:30 AM yesterday. It was not until after noon that a staff member found Jackson unconscious and not breathing. According to TMZ, Murray attempted to revive Jackson until the paramedics showed up at the scene, at which time they went to the hospital together and Jackson was declared Dead on Arrival. Since their arrival at the hospital, from what has been released so far, Murray is missing in action. Murray's automobile, which is registered to his sister, remained at the Jackson residence and was recently towed away, but Murray remains missing. This whole case is way too shady and it makes Murray look guilty as sin. As of now the case has been turned over to LAPD's Robbery and Homicide Division and Murray is wanted for questioning. Did Murray overdose Jackson with Demerol and kill him in a malpractice homicide? Still waiting for further information as the case unfolds. Autopsy is likely being done on Jackson's body as this post is being published.

MICHAEL JACKSON, "KING OF POP" PASSES AT AGE 50!

On the date of June 25, 2009, with the passing of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson on the same day, this is a day in which the world of Pop Culture will forever live in infamy!

Listening to the radio about an hour ago, I received word that Michael Jackson, 50, died in a hospital in Los Angeles. A little after noon today, Jackson was at home when he stopped breathing and a staff member made the 911 call to come get him and bring him to the hospital. From what I've heard, he was dead on arrival. Michael Jackson was the biggest celebrity in the world, really needing no introduction, as everyone recognized him as the King of Pop. Michael Jackson was the black Elvis Presley!

On this evening, I am deeply saddened by this man's passing. He was a legend and his songs were inspirational. His sing voice, lyrics, and overall presence will always be remembered. There so many classic songs that he came out with: Billy Jean, Thriller, Beat it, You Are Not Alone, Man in the Mirror, Smooth Criminal, Wanna Be Starting Something, etc. So many songs to remember and so many hits. Michael Jackson's album Thriller clearly remains the best selling album of all times. It was indeed a legendary album of epic proportions. Jackson will always remain an icon who set the standard for pop culture.

Jackson is the man whom current stars such as R.Kelly, Usher, Justin Timberlake, and many others among them, have idolized for years as they rose to prominence in their careers as performers. This post is all for you, Michael Jackson, wherever your spirit may be. May you ascend to Heaven, after all of the freakishly troubling moments you faced in life. On the date of June 24, with the passing of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson on the same day, this is a day in which the world of Pop Culture will forever live in infamy! May the spirit of the King of Pop rest in peace. Michael Jackson, you will forever be remembered....

Battle to legalize NJ sports gambling supported by Gov. Corzine!

According to an article I read on NJ.com, New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine (D) has joined Senator Ray Lesniak in a spirited battle to legalize sports betting in the state of NJ. There are only four states in the country that allow sports gambling – Delaware, Montana, Nevada, and Oregon. Legalized sports betting in the state of NJ would do wonders for increasing the money coming into the state, increased tourism, and bigger boxing matches and sports events that take place here. I love and adore Atlantic City as well as the surrounding towns down in that Southern part of the state. Atlantic City was practically my backyard during my years as a student at The Richard Stockton College of NJ. I worked there for almost a year and it was a tremendous experience. Legalized sports gambling would do wonders for that city as well as this state. Once gambling is legalized, I can start cleaning up in the casinos on these bold and often accurate boxing predictions that I make. What better way to pour money back into an ailing economy?

At 62 years of age, pop culture icon Farrah Fawcett died of cancer today. Damn, first it was Ed McMahon and now it’s Farrah Fawcett. Fawcett, a sex symbol back in the 1970’s will be remembered for her role in Charlie’s Angels as well as a swimsuit model who posed for a number of posters that many guys around the world hung proudly on their bedroom walls. Even though we all eventually pass away at some point or another, we leave something behind. Fawcett left behind the long lasting legacy of a talented actress as well as a national sex symbol. Rest in peace.

Cranium of mass destruction!

This morning on Elvis Duran in the Morning show on Z100, there was a segment in which women were calling in to describe their craziest freak-out bitch moments. This one girl, whose boyfriend cheated on her if I’m not mistaking, admitted to the radio show that she exacted revenge on her cheating boyfriend by head butting the shit out of his new truck (country boys have a tremendous amount of pride in their new trucks).

She claimed the headbutting was painless due to the fact that she doesn't have any feeling in her forehead (no pain, but how about brains?!?), so she repeatedly head butted the door of the truck and made a huge dent. LMAO! Who the hell does that? She seemed happy and upbeat as she was describing the incident, clearly proud of what she had done. I guess she's OK, physically, for now. Had I been in her presence while doing that, I don't think I would've tried to stop her either (unless I was the boyfriend with the truck of course)! It would have been too comical of a sight for me to intervene. Plus, I wouldn’t want her head butting me! I probably would've just sat on the sidelines, in amazement that a chick could do that with her dome, and laughed hysterically!

R.I.P. Ed McMahon

Ed McMahon passed away in Los Angeles today at the age of 86. Although he was fighting foreclosure on his house, he had lived a wealthy and prosperous life. As recently as February, McMahon was hospitalized for pnemeunia and had reportedly been suffering from several other health problems in recent years. Best known as Johnny Carson's sidekick [Heerrrre's Johnny!] on the 'Tonight Show' for over 30 years, my most vivid memories of McMahon date back to the old school days on Central Ave in D-town when friends of mine from high school and other acquaintances would come over to my house. Fascinated with the idea that I had a picture of Ed McMahon at my house, they would take the picture and place it over the picture of Jesus that hung on my living room wall. Yes, they put Ed McMahon's picture over Jesus's picture. Is that just nuts? They did it for you, Ed!

Realising that this is the Garden State, I think we've had more than enough rain to water our state ten times over! With the cloudy skies and the rainy weather conditions outside, I figure this is the ideal moment for a little Saturday morning blogging, what do you say? *thumbs up from the readers* Glad you agree with me! Let's get down to the meat and potatoes of B-Money, shall we? Let's get down to the nitty gritty. Let's get juicy!

Here's the deal ladies and gentlemen. Currently I have been working and working pretty hard at my job, which is no longer at Solix Inc. My job has not been at Solix Inc for quite some time and for reasons that remain undisclosed to Blog of Bryan viewers. Right now I'm working for a company down in Middlesex County, which for the time being I elect to remain anonymous, as a compliance auditor (to some extent).

Due to a painstakingly deficient job market as well as my intentions to bank money, increase my marketability and maintain high productivity through the position I am working at with this company, I remain dedicated to my job and attempt to do the best job possible each and every day. As I stated in a previous post dated a few months ago, I'm going to come 110% with whatever I do or I am not going to come at all.

I am grateful that I am gainfully employed and that I am doing such a kick-ass job in the work place, whether or not it goes unnoticed. Bottom line is: I've been told I'm doing a bang up job. As a result of the accuracy in my production, one of the co-workers has actually questioned (probably joking around) whether or not I'm with the FBI!

My current job is bringing in decent money for today's economic standards and that money is certainly paying my bills, but in these times of economic and financial insecurity, and with the obligations I am expected to meet in the coming months and years, it often feels like 80% to 90% of my income is always committed else where. Whether it be phone bills, gas for the automobile, student loans, or whatever the case may be, my money is usually going somewhere else other than leisure or savings.

At this time the greatest benefit I'm getting out of the income I generate is the gym membership I have with Retro Fitness. Therefore, I have made the critical decision to seek part time work in addition to the full time day job that I am already committed to - a commitment that will remain completely unscathed by the responsibilities that will come with a part time job on the side.

My plans are to remain where I am at my current job, but I also feel the need to seek a 2nd job that I can do on the side - a job that does not interfere with the schedule and commitments I have to my full time job. Bringing more money and establishing a substantially large nest egg for myself is something that I intend to do in the coming months. By January 2010, I would like to not only be living on my own, but also living on my own and living well off.

I refuse to settle for living on my own and barely surviving as I nickel and dime myself through each pay period and live pay check to pay check. The fact that I am able to pay my bills is a relief, but I want to make some extra money so that I may continue to do nice things for B-Money as well as bank some money away for a rainy day (I'll be careful what I say - judging by the amount of rain we're getting lately, a rainy day could mean, today, tomorrow, the next day, etc. LOL). I also intend to open a separate checking account solely for the purpose of emergency funding. These funds, serving as a substitute for the utilization of my Capital One credit card, will remain untouched and will only be spent on emergency expenses.

When it comes to family members, I believe one should also help family when they are in need, and I am more than happy to do so, but when the family light is a tad dim and the family does not really think about the way that they are communicating to you or the manner in which they are speaking to you, sometimes you must temporarily place them in time-out while you live your life and get your life in order!

One gets the impression that I am incensed, but I call it being rational and self-aware. We are only here on this planet in this life time for a cup of coffee. That's how fast it feels like it goes by - we stop off here for a cup of coffee and then we are soon on our way to the next destination. Well I choose to enjoy that cup of coffee during that coffee break for as long as it lasts! There's a price to pay for being happy. The price you pay is not being afraid to disappoint others with the actions you take in making attempts to better your way of life.

I advocate living for the living, rather than being a Negative Nancy, who chooses to remain handcuffed to the deceased. When I take the steps necessary to make it big and reach the pinnacle I have in my sights ahead, and communication and respect changes, I will issue the necessary aid that estranged family members are seeking.

For now ladies and gentlemen, it is B-Money time. It is my time. I'm young, handsome, and have a lot of house cleaning to do in my agenda. Through trials and tribulations, thick and thin, I'll take the necessary steps to get to where I need to get to live a safe, healthy, and prosperous lifestyle.

I can not believe how fast this week went by. It seems like just yesterday Beanie was treating Mike, Chris Milek, her boyfriend and I to dinner at Ruby Tuesdays. That was on Sunday. It's already Friday. Where does the time go folks?

As of late I've just been working and trying to keep my head above the tides of life that traverse us through the troughs. For the past two weeks, I've been going over to Mike's house in Edison to play Halo with Mike, Ray, and Chris. The first week I played I got 0 kills. A couple days ago, I actually managed to get four kills - three of them were Mike and one was Ray, so I'm definitely making progress with that game. Those are the first two times I ever played Halo and I'm learning how to play against people who have been consistently playing that game on a weekly basis. Learning how to play against other players is always more challenging than learning how to play against the computer. Wednesday Halo night is a terrific way to break up the monotony that is the work week.

From 4th of July to the much anticipated wedding, there are a number of events upcoming this summer. Most of the weekends this summer are booked with proposed events. On 4th of July weekend, I'll be Edison at Mike's house with the old Stockton gang celebrating our country's Independence Day. On the weekend of July 18, Mike and I will be helping Ray and Melissa (soon to be married) move into their new apartment at Royal Oaks apartment complex in Monmouth Junction. The first weekend of August, we'll be making a return to the shore house in Lavallette which is sure to be yet another kick-ass weekend. Another Friday night trip to Joey Harrison's Surf Club will be in order. Hopefully this time around, ladies and gentlemen, I don't get cock blocked!

In the mail, I finally got my $50 rebate visa card from Verizon Wireless. When I got my new phone and activated my plan with Verizon, I submitted my proof of purchase receipt along with the bar code sticker on the box to get my $50 rebate. I got it in the mail today, so I was very happy about that. That's $50 extra I have for leisurely spending, which is always a nice thing to have. I'll probably go out and get myself something to eat in just a few moments. Summer of 2009 is set to officially begin this weekend and it should be quite a summer. From 4th of July to the bachelor party to the wedding and all of the get togethers, celebrations, and summer events in between, there's much to enjoy and much to cover.

B-Money is back to paying off credit card (again)

...and I will bring it back down to $0 again, in a relatively short period of time!

Today has been a rainy Saturday, but the fact that it's another weekend is good enough to keep me satisfied. Why waste time complaining about rain? A wise young lady from Indonesia (on facebook) recently offered up some wise words of wisdom when I talked about the rain on my facebook page, saying, " Why not look on the brighter side? After every rain storm God provide a rainbow." I replied to the beautiful Indonesian, "Words of Wisdom! Very well said."

Although I must admit things have been going well for me at work. Monday is another pay day and I should be getting a bonus for my productivity along with this upcoming pay check, so I am definitely looking forward to receiving that because I could use the extra money right now. Due to a couple of problems I had with my car recently, I regret to say that I put some charges back onto the credit card that I said I would never use again! LOL.

Believe me, I know many of you are thinking, "What the fuck?" Yes I admit being sucked into using the damn card again when I felt the need to do so, but that's generally what credit cards are supposed to be for. Emergencies! However I did not expect an emergency to arise so soon after my successful attempt to rid myself of the credit card debt. I'll probably open an account solely for the purpose of emergency funding; this account will be a separate account from my Wachovia accounts. That's really what I need to do to prevent myself from paying with credit, itching closer to debt, and pushing myself further away from wealth and prosperity.

On the brighter side, I showed the ability to reduce the credit card debt down to a $0 balance just under a month ago. I will do it again! I won't complain about the credit card debt. I will embrace the situation, take care of business, and get rid of the debt once again. When I bring the balance of the card back down to $0, and in a relatively short period of time, it will further improve and advance my credit status and make me look even better than when I paid the debt off last month!

Right now I see the glass as being half full rather than half empty. My student loan balance is gradually coming down, as I am paying off a little bit of the principal along with the interest each and every month when the bill is due. I still do not have to worry about Auto Insurance until January 2010. I'm grateful to myself for having paid it off completely last month. While Capital One may have temporarily resurrected its ugly rear end back into my financial agenda, auto insurance and expensive T-Mobile cellular bills are two set backs that I definitely do not have to worry about at the present time. I'll never have to worry about expensive T-Mobile bills ever again. I am a proud Verizon subscriber with unlimited texting and free Verizon to Verizon minutes with friends who also have Verizon. That alone makes my life much easier. Amen to that!

Other than that, I'm looking forward to my lunch meeting tomorrow at 2PM with Beanie and Mike. Salad bars at Ruby Tuesday's are healthy, plentiful, and delicious. Ruby Tuesday's is vastly becoming a routine for Beanie, the Mileks, and I, but it's a routine you will not hear B-Money complain about!

Much is on B-Money's plate this summer.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen, this is your boy B-Money giving all of you a little update before I start my work day in about half an hour on this rainy Friday morning. Hey at least it’s Friday, right? Even though I don’t get paid until Monday, I’m still grateful that I am getting paid, making money, and that I am gainfully employed.

Yet another weekend is upon us folks. This weekend I will be having lunch with Beanie and Mike on Sunday. Beanie has elected to treat Mike and I to lunch as a thanks for helping her with the Relay for Life at Sussex County Community College a couple weeks ago. In my opinion, that event was for a good cause and was more of a good deed accomplished than anything else, but remain thankful to Beanie for choosing to treat us for lunch. We will probably be having lunch at Ruby Tuesdays and then going to Cliff’s for ice cream afterwards. Other than that, this weekend is going to be rather low key, but B-Money has a lot on his plate this summer. Along with all of the weekend parties upcoming, I also have a bachelor party and a wedding to brace myself for this summer.

On the weekend of 4th of July, a bunch of us will be getting together, most likely in Edison, to celebrate Independence Day. Mike has made tentative plans to have us all down at the shore house in Lavallette on the weekend of July 25-27, a weekend on which we intend to take a day trip to Long Beach Island. That should be a truly enjoyable summer weekend, but not before we give Ray and Mel a helping hand with their move. Approximately a month before their wedding day, Ray and Mel will be moving into their new apartment at the Royal Oaks apartment complex in Monmouth Junction. Mike and I are expected to help them out with that move on Saturday, July 18.

Also on July 18, Floyd “Money” Mayweather is returning to the ring, following his eleven month retirement, to face lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez at a catch weight of 144lbs. The fight features two of the best technicians as well as two of the best pound for pound fighters in the sport, so you know I’ll be heading to Miami Mike’s Sports Zone that same night to watch that fight on HBO PPV.

At this time, I’m just trying to make money, get ahead of the curve, and stay ahead of the curve. You already know what the deal is with me when it comes to that. I’m thrilled to have a job and it’s remarkable that I just blogged you here at work before the start of my work day. Hopefully you all have a nice weekend. Great times at Ocean beach, as I spent some time with my Stockton and Jersey shore peoples tanning on the beach today. We had a fabulous time this weekend, between Joey Harrison's Surf Club (minus the cock blocking incident), Wildwood, Stockton, Ocean Beach, etc). I feel good. I feel hot. B-Money got cock blocked!

Last night was a pretty decent time at Joey Harrison's, as I feel that's one of the best clubs in this area. Unfortunately, I feel like I did get more or less cock blocked last night when I was trying to make some moves on this hot chick out on the dance floor.

The culprit was some terrible dude who kept interjecting and trying to dance with her, but she kept breaking away from his grasp and coming back to me to dance with me. Obviously she was not interested in that turdmite. She was pretty hot, but I'm also hot and I was also pretty drunk. Hot attracts hot. She had a nice little body and we were getting pretty close on the dance floor, but this fuck tart kept getting in the way and she got really aggravated. I think she left the club! Maybe an ex-boyfriend? Who knows what the complete story is, but I felt like I was on my way to potentially making something happen there. Oh well, there will be other nights. Many other nights in the future. But this chick had a really nice body!

Other than that, I love Joey Harrisons and enjoyed my return there. I hadn't been there since July. In a little bit, we're all going to get ready to head down to Wildwood. Mike, Greg, Ray, Mel, Chris, and I will be making the trip down there. Beanie is home sick; I wish her a speedy recovery. I believe Angela is helping her family with a garden, or something to that extent. Damn, I think I'm hung over. I've fallen through the cracks as it pertains to alcohol consumption, so my body is not used to what I drank last night. More to come later...

I've been working out at Retro Fitness and my stomach is a little flatter than it was before. I'm the King of Cardio, but I could use some muscle tone to my gorgeous body as well. For right now, I'm just partying it up with some friends of mine at the Jersey Shore and you can not beat that. Here's to the summer of 2009 baby - I got me a Labatt 50 Imported and I just took a nice tasteful sip of it. Mmmmmmmm! Delicious. Time to go party. There's plenty on the table for B-Money. Little boy threatens to kill George W. Bush!

As I was listening to 105.1 this morning, it was brought to my attention that some little kid had threatened to kill former United States President George W. Bush. Surely enough, when I searched for it on Youtube moments ago, I found the video in its entirety. Don’t get me wrong, I was about as anti-Bush as any of the 80% who despised him at the end of his two terms, but to come out on Youtube and threaten to kill a former, or even current, president??? You either have to have some balls, or you have to be pretty fucking stupid and I think it’s the latter with this little boy right here. What a turdmite! I hope he has fun in the juvenille detention center that he is sure to be placed in. His parents will probably also be doing some pretty severe prison time.

Relay for Life: A gratifying success!

King and Queen of Hearts win award for Most Creative Tent in first year of participation!

The American Cancer Society Relay for Life at Sussex County Community College was a success on Saturday. I arrived at the school around 1:45 PM to help Beanie, her sister Angela, her brother Brian, and Mike (who arrived at the same time) set up the tent and prepare all of the goodies for distribution and sale.

We sold cookies, home-made rice crispy treats, and bottled Izzi brand drinks (often sold at Starbucks for about $2.50 a bottle). All of these treats and drinks were compliments of Beanie and Mike, as I bought the balloons, ice, and a cooler in which to store the ice and drinks. The walk started at 4PM and ended at 8AM on Sunday.

Mike and Beanie took turns going to sleep in between doing laps to fight cancer. B-Money was a nocturnal trooper ladies and gentlemen; I stayed up the entire night and did some laps as well. Around the track, one could see bags with live candles inside. The bags had the individual names of those in Sussex County, who either passed away due to the disease, are currently battling the disease, or survived and beat the disease. A function such as a fundraiser for cancer is really an eye opening experience.

At 4AM, after waking up Colleen to watch the tent, Mike and I took an early morning trip to Quickchek, where I spotted a hot chick with a beautiful face, nice ass and what looked like a tramp stamp. It was a pretty sight to behold, considering the Lipton mint tea I picked up at Quickchek was certainly not worth the trip! Yes this is a post about the Relay for Life, but I had to incorporate the appreciation I had for this girl’s face and body somewhere in this post, so there you go!

On Sunday morning at the award ceremony, Beanie Mike and I won a team award for most creative looking tent. That was pretty cool, considering that it was our first year participating in the fundraiser. Our team name was King and Queen of Hearts and our tent was Las Vegas themed, with purple, red, gold, dark green, and black balloons. I also got us a Las Vegas themed playing card balloon for the tent. Considering we now have a title to defend, we will be returning next year as well! We're not only going to retain our current title, but also win another title by at least placing as one of the top three fundraising teams!

At the end of the function, all of the teams combined had raised over $60,000 in donation money. Well done, team! Well done, fundraiser!

Bruno tea bags Eminem at MTV music awards!

Borat actor Sacha Baron Cohen, in character as Bruno, was flying above the crowd at the MTV Music Awards dressed as an angel with wings from cable pulleys, when the cables eventually tangled up and Cohen fell down into the crowd. He landed on rapper Eminem, in what was an unscripted stunt. Clearly disgruntled with having just been tea bagged by Cohen, Eminem along with friends sitting with him at the show quickly shoved Cohen off of Eminem, at which point an angry Eminem got up out of his seat and left the Awards show. I don’t blame Eminem one bit; I would not have been a happy camper!

B-Money is looking forward to participating in the Relay for Life this Saturday night on the campus of Sussex County Community College. Right now, things are going well in terms of my gym work which I have been staying on top of. While I am lifting weights, albeit lightly at the moment, I am also conditioning my body by doing fat burning exercises on the stepper. Last night on the stepper, I burnt a total of 556 calories stepping a total of 6.3 miles in 50 minutes. That’s pretty good stamina and fitness on my behalf and it’s only going to get better. This is only the beginning. I am getting fine tuned and ready, mentally as well as physically, for what I expect to be a tremendous summer. I’ve been springing into summer the right way baby! As a Retro Fitness member, you could definitely say that I’ve been RETRO-ACTIVE! The point of the entire game is to put the work in if you want to play. Here’s a random thought: Why the hell do I hit amber traffic lights 90% of the time I come to a traffic light? This happens literally 90% of the time – can someone please explain this to me???????? LOL.

Anticipation of June 5-6 Lavallette/Wildwood day trip weekend!

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, B-Money will be back in the shore scene on the weekend of June 5-6, looking and feeling hotter than ever before. Yes I've been in the gym and yes I've burn hundreds of calories, so I'm going to continue to keep working out and I fully intend to showcase this work in progress on the weekend of June 5-6. It's going to be hot! I'll be covering two beach points through out that eventful weekend, as I'll be in the Lavallette/Ocean Beach/Seaside area on Friday and Sunday and Wildwood on Saturday.

On Friday June 5, we'll be making a hotly anticipated return to Joey Harrison's Surf Club, where I hope to enjoy a couple of drinks out back by the beach as well as the beautiful eye candy that will be strutting through the place. As we all know, I'm not too shabby myself. I'm tall, soon to be dark, and always handsome. LOL. Along with those features, I am also more physically fit now than ever, so we'll see how well that serves me on the upcoming beach weekend. Certainly June 21 is the official start of the summer, but we all know that summer is already here for the most part.

Saturday morning we will be taking a day trip to Wildwood, where we'll spend some time on the boardwalk and perhaps even some of the rides in the amusement park section of the boardwalk. One of my main objectives is just to get outside, get down to the shore where my heart is, and work on my sun tan as well as enjoying the terrific company I surround myself with as well as showing off my more physically fit body. Don't get me wrong folks; it's a far cry from what I want it to look like. However, I've also made some progress from what it once appeared to be. Surf Club, Wildwood, beach, tanning, swimming, gorgeous tits and ass, I say "Bring it on baby! I will take it ALL!!!!!"

American Cancer Society Relay for Life Saturday night!

This Saturday night B-Money will be heading up to Sussex County Community College to participate in the Relay for Life. Relay for Life is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. In what is an opportunity to stay physically active, I also see this as a golden opportunity to do a good deed and give back to those less fortunate.

Overall this should be a fun occasion, as Mike will also be participating with me along with Beanie. We'll be setting up a tent to camp out in as we take turns walking laps around the track on campus throughout the night. Hopefully the weather is up to par; the forecast is calling for yet another beautiful weekend much like the Memorial Day weekend we had. How was Memorial Day for everyone? Mine was low key at best, but there's always a quiet before the big storm. This weekend will be the relay for life.

The following weekend, June 5-6, a number of us will be down in Lavallette for the weekend at Mike's shore house enjoying yet another fun filled weekend of leisure activities as we ring in the summer. More on the upcoming Lavallette weekend in the following post.

Thoughts and feelings heading into Memorial Day weekend!

B-Money is definitely setting it off, as he gets ready for the summer months. I’m thrilled that I’m getting out of work today by 3PM for the early start of what is going to be a three day Memorial Day weekend. This morning, I had a delicious parfait for breakfast which consists of granola, fat free yogurt, blueberries, and strawberries. Absolutely delicious and refreshing; I could not get enough of it. Lately I’ve been eating protein bars and energy bars. The Luna Bars, which are 70% organic, are really good. Last night I had the chocolate raspberry flavored Luna Bar. On the stepper at the gym last night, I burnt over 500 calories in what was a fat burning workout. Like I said before, I definitely got it going on right now but I’m still a work in progress. There are a number of things that I really want to get worked out. As you all know, credit card is paid off, auto insurance is paid off, and I have a beautiful new phone with a keyboard under a phone plan that is much more convenient for yours truly. Memorial Day weekend is just about here, as well as the unofficial start to Summer 2009. I wish everyone a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend!

Sunday lunch with Beanie.

Earlier today I met Beanie for lunch at Ruby Tuesday's in Ledgewood. We each ordered the unlimited salad bar as well as a bowl of Cheddar and Broccoli soup. Not having seen Beanie in a while, it was a nice way to cap off what was a mildly productive weekend on my behalf. Having paid off my NJM auto insurance and switching over to Verizon Wireless, I would say I got some things done that I wanted to get done this rainy weekend. Onto another week of making money and hustling towards the next set of actions that I will soon be taking! Gym, making money, putting myself into a better financial position, and getting ready for the summer is what I am all about right now. Let's do this!

The self-gratification of making valuable changes!

I am always ready for those gorgeous girls showing off their beautifully shaped bodies on the beach. This summer is going to be a little different though, because this summer the king will be strutting his own temple of a body with a swagger that says "B-Money has arrived."

I am thankful for a number of certain factors as well as achievements in my life that are being utilized to reshape my means of living on a day to day basis. At this time, I would just like to go over some of those factors and achievements.

Once again discussing the recent completion of my credit card and auto insurance payments, I am going to sound like a broken record and I realize that, but that's why this is the BLOG OF BRYAN! Much of my content, however, is informative, insightful, comical, noteworthy, and nostalgic, so there is a little bit of something for everyone on here. Family and friends as well as loyal Blog of Bryan readers should feel fortunate to read the latest and greatest about B-Money as well as his ideas, thoughts, and philosophies. In the words of Maximus (played by Russell Crowe) in Gladiator, "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained???? Is this not why you are here????"

Basically I am happy that I have taken responsibility and significantly altered my monthly income and expenses for the better. No more credit card debt. No more auto insurance bills until January 2010. No more expensive T-Mobile bills. I claimed I would make all of those things a reality and I did just that, so that makes me happy. Eliminating my credit card debt and paying off my auto insurance policy for the year is only the beginning of reaching the level I wish to reach in my day to day life. Call it a financial day to day makeover of life if you will. As I said before, the more debt that I rid myself of, the more money I get put away in the bank. That is one of my main goals at this time.

I am thankful for my new Verizon Wireless cellphone plan, as well as this beautiful Samsung Alias that I am now using to make calls and do several other things that its many features allow me to do. As a Verizon subscriber whose friends are mainly comprised of fellow Verizon subscribers, I am delighted that my monthly charges are now going to be significantly reduced. With the unlimited text messaging as well as the Verizon mobile to mobile, I can speak to my Verizon subscribing friends whenever I want for as long as I want. I can text anybody with as many texts as I want. The whole plan makes my life much easier. I'm happy to be employed.

I'm thrilled that Barack Obama is the President of the United States. This is a president who has granted me, as well as 95% of working citizens of this country, a tax cut. This is a president who goes public in prime time press conferences and outlines what his plans are, what he intends to do, and tells us how he is going to do it. Power to Barack!

Having taken a couple of days off from the gym, I will be returning to Retro tomorrow evening to fit in a workout that will likely include chest, cardio, and abs. My body needed a couple days of rest after burning an excessive amount of calories last week, but tomorrow night I will be back on that grind. To quote what I had said in a post at the start of the year, physical attractiveness as well as banking money and staying smart are the names of B-Money's game - and I must put the necessary work in if I want to play that game! B-Money is slowly reaching the top of his game baby.

Once I get this body up to par and continue to maintain my money game, there is going to be absolutely no turning back. I will definitely be ready for the boardwalk as well as bars like Joey Harrison's Surf Club and Hemingways this summer. I am always ready for those gorgeous girls showing off their beautifully shaped bodies on the beach. As of now, B-Money is now a Verizon Wireless cell phone subscriber. To go with my new cell phone plan, I am the proud owner of a beautiful Samsung Alias, which is user friendly and contains a keyboard. Ladies and gentlemen, this is what I'm talking about when I say that I am making happen. Auto insurance is now entirely paid off for the year. My cellphone plan is more convenient due to the fact that practically all of my friends have Verizon as well. My plan is a basic nationwide 450 minute/month plan with the free nights and weekends as well as the unlimited texting feature. I'm thrilled that I finally made this transition. I said I would do so and I made it happen today. My cell phone number of four years still remains the same.

I am a wealthy person, who is not yet financially opulent or filthy rich. When I say I'm wealthy, I mean in terms of my social life and how I spend leisure with close friends of mine. It is a social wealth, but there is also the financial wealth that I seek with determination. That takes strategy. That requires a certain degree of aptitude and sense of responsibility of how one deals with their money. Not only their money, but their DEBT.

Browsing around on the Internet this morning, I came across a Marketwatch article that made a lot of sense and serves as a blueprint that many folks should try to follow. In order to attain financial wealth, or at least financial stability, one must truly pay one's self and pay pay off one's debt at the same time. The less you owe creditors, the more you can save for yourself. In the words of Marketwatch journalist Chuck Jaffe, "Save more, spend less, and work off debt." In previous years, I never used to be so financially conscious, but I believe it is incumbent on me to heed the advise that the Jaffe's article preaches because it makes sense.

Some of you folks who are reading this right now might be inclined to say, "Duh, that's common sense you idiot!" Well if its such common sense, why haven't more people in this country followed through on the blueprint and gotten themselves out of the debt that they are in? Because its common sense that is way too easy to comprehend, but not quite so easy to follow. Many of the folks walking around in stores and markets have wondering eyes that are greater than their budgets! Their eyes instantly spot products and goods that scream "Buy me! Buy me! Buy me!" Certainly it is nice to treat yourself to luxuries, but in this day and age when we're going through a recession and a time of economic uncertainty, it behooves you to know your spending limits.

President Barack Obama even spoke at a town hall meeting in New Mexico a couple days ago, declaring that "enough is enough" in regards to credit card companies raising interest rates and charging excessive fees for outstanding balances. Thankfully, I recently chose not to be a part of the credit card mayhem that Obama spoke of in New Mexico on Thursday. Such practices on the part of the credit card companies have grown increasingly problematic throughout this deep recession. This makes it even more difficult for people to pay their way out of credit card debt.

I must honestly say out of relief, it felt sensational to pay off my Capital One credit card debt. Paying $305 of my auto insurance balance last weekend was also a tremendous feeling of achievement. Whenever I complete this blog post, I will proudly pay the remaining $95 of the balance and not have to worry about paying for my auto insurance until January! Trust me, it's a fabulous feeling. Clearly I do not make the most money, but I am growing wise in terms of how I save it, spend it, invest it, and move it around.

I am a brainiac with a sharp mind and I could certainly use a sharp and chiseled looking body to compliment it!

Well it's been about a week since you have heard anything or read anything from me, so what exactly is the latest and greatest with the great B-Money???

Yet another weekend has graced us with its presence, so I am pretty happy about that. Lately I've been laying low just trying to get myself situated with certain matters in my life, but rest assured B-Money has been on the grind in more ways than one! On Monday of last week, I finally made a much anticipated return to the gym. Not just a return to the gym, but a return to a new gym with a new membership and brand new vision.

I am now a proud member of Retro Fitness, which is a pleasant and reasonably priced gym with a movie theater room that shows random motion pictures and contains steppers, exercise bikes, and treadmills for cardio. They promote workouts with more positive experiences. There is also a bar up front where members can sit down and enjoy a protein shake at the end of a work out. Throughout the week I have been doing workouts for different part of the body, in an attempt to work out the kinks of a body that has been idle and inactive from a fitness standpoint.

On Wednesday and Thursday, I actually went twice a day - once in the morning for cardio and once at night for lifting. Mind, body, and soul all the way baby! If you want to be the champion, then you must work like a champion as well as think like a champion. With summer right around the corner as well as the much-anticipated wedding in which I am one of the groomsmen in August, B-Money needs to get this body up to par. I am a brainiac with a sharp mind and I could certainly use a sharp and chiseled looking body to compliment it!

Slowly but surely, I am cleaning up my finances rather nicely. As you all know, I finally put my Capital One to rest last weekend by paying off the entire balance. No more Capital One. Tomorrow afternoon when my paycheck from today clears in my checking account, I will also be paying remainder of my balance - $95 - with NJM, at which point my auto insurance policy can go rest in peace with my Capital One - at least until January 2010 which is still thankfully six months away.

Tomorrow afternoon, after my check clears and I pay the remaining balance of my auto insurance bill, I will probably go to a Verizon Wireless store to sign up for a cellular plan with them. After speaking with a T-Mobile customer service representative earlier this week, I discovered that my contract has expired. Being that most of my close friends and acquaintances also have Verizon cell phone plans, my contract expiration with T-Mobile was terrific news in the sense that I do not pay any potential cancellation fees for opting out of my contract and I can start a cheaper and more convenient plan with Verizon and still retain my current phone number. For approximately $60, I am choosing the 400 minute plan with unlimited texting as well as free nights and weekends. Ladies and gentlemen, my transition from T-Mobile to Verizon has been long over due. I am tired of paying astronomically high cell phone bills each month.

To sum up my current status I have been on the grind and out of the public's eye for the most part, but do not misconstrue or misinterpret what the upcoming months have in store for B-Money and company. Summer, many outstanding summer nights and weekends, and a wedding are down the road and I am looking forward to every single bit of it. Through mind, body, and soul, I just want to be ready for it all and ready to enjoy every moment. That's about it for now. Have a nice night and a lovely weekend. Blog you later!

Goodbye Capital One!

I finally paid off the entire balance; no longer using credit. My T-Mobile is the next thing to go!

Today is a day that I will remember for a very long time. I have finally paid off my entire Capital One credit card balance and will no longer be billed unless I spend it on anything. Barring a really dire emergency, I am not spending a single penny of that credit card. My credit score and history need warrant significant improvement, so that is why I paid the entire balance. No more credit card bills. YESSSS!!! *****applause*****

For the past six months, I have also been working with a law firm to help repair my credit history, so I am definitely on the right path to my own economic recovery and prosperity.There's even a possibility that I will have it chopped up so I can't use it anymore. Earlier this afternoon, I also paid my T-Mobile cellular bill that is due on May 14, but I will be calling their 800 number on Monday to cancel out of my contract and start a new cellular contract with Verizon. Yes I realize I should have done this a long time ago, but one must crawl before one walks and one must also realize when they're being billed way more than they should. I am very proud of myself today for having paid off all of these bills, as I firmly believe this is going to be of service to me in my plans for long term financial growth.

I have also paid $305 towards my auto insurance bill and I only have $95 (yes I said 95!) left to pay for the remainder of the year. What can I say? It comes with having a pristine clean driving record. Clearly I'm not a moron who drives drunk and incurs D.U.I charges. Clearly I have been driving for over ten years and never come close to getting into an accident. I am a damn good driver as well as a responsible human being who is fortunate enough to be a member - in my fourth year - of a terrific, second-to-none auto insurance company!! The remaining $95 will be paid after I deposit the pay check I am going to receive on Friday.

That's why I'm B-Money, ladies and gentlemen. Many of you wonder why I rightfully have the nickname???? Because the name of my game is to pay as little as possible and make as much as possible. That is the key to financial prosperity. Minimize your bills and maximize your income. People often go by what a given individual earns or what he or she is worth. Forget about worth. It is not about what you're worth. It is all about what you have and what you can afford. Always remember my slogan; if you can't B-Money then you just can't be serious!

What's good ladies and gentlemen, family friends and fans? This is your boy B-Money following up with an update. We're itching closer and closer to the summer now. There will be another KDP get together down in Lavallette at Mike's shore house on the weekend of June 5-6. Knowing that summer is right around the corner, I certainly can not wait for that weekend to get here. That should be an outstanding weekend; it will serve as a worthy summer-approaching sequel to the recession proof celebration of life that we all had back in March.

Throughout the work week my taste for tea has evolved risen to the forefront, as I have been enjoying delicious hot cups of Cinnamon Stick flavored Tea from Bigelow, as a hiatus from the coffee. The tea works just as effectively, and it's healthier, so the substitution is satisfying! With the help of just a little pinch of sugar, that tea has what it takes to get me wired in the morning. Usually I will have two cups a day, drinking one in the morning and one in the afternoon after lunch. Love it!

Right wings continue to take stabs at the democratic party, continuously displaying their bitterness over the fact that the political governance of our country is no longer working in their favor. Earlier today I posted a status message on facebook, which happens to be a quote by Elizabeth Cady Stanto. The quote reads, "Come, come, my conservative friends, wipe the dew off your spectacles, and see that the world is moving." The extreme right winged conservative, who is more or less an acquaintance of mine, hastily replied, "the world is moving, but you have fallen off the train." Ouch! Just a little bitter, wouldn't you say?

Fact of the matter is, those who are logical enough to put aside the Fox News goggles are realistic in their understanding of the time President Obama might need to jump start the economy and manage the two wars we're in. Economic recovery remains the primary issue 110 days into this administration. If I learned anything from the eight year Bush administration, it's that you can fall when apathy causes you to take your eye off the ball, and there will not always be something or someone to catch you when the White House is comprised of retards. It is about time we have someone with the integrity, competence, and political acumen that President Obama has thus far exhibited.

For years we have allowed businesses to maintain their greedy and incompetent ways by rewarding the failure of their traders [AIG for example] with millions of dollars in bonus checks. Republicans and livid that the government is now taking the necessary steps to oversee and closely monitor the corruption that has been taking place, from businesses issuing substantially large and unjustified bonus money, to banks incompetently lending out loans to people who can not afford to pay them back. To all of you angry right-wing nut jobs out there who feel like taking stabs, we tried it your way for eight long and torturous years. We have seen how greedy corporations can be when they are not closely monitored or supervised. You like to suggest that there is a trickle down effect, but the money and perks all trickle down to the people who do not deserve it.

The bottom line is: Your way did not work. Your way failed us. Now it is time for a brand new way. Now it is time for change. That is why 52% voted in President Obama. Nonetheless, extreme conservatives will continue to watch Fox News faithfully, on their knees saying "Halo be thy Hannity", while Mr. Obama takes care of the business at hand and gives a solid and respectful effort through his administration to clean up the mess that we are now in.

Cinco De Mayo is here once again, but I did not have any margaritas today. I just went to work. LOL. I hope everyone had a nice day today. Tomorrow is hump day - the middle of the week.

Sometimes you have to hit the bottom before you can rise all the way to the top. Independently I am definitely up to something right now. I'm just trying to put the pieces of yet another puzzle in my life together at this time. There is not too much I can elaborate on at this time, but I do intend to rearrange my life in a way that I choose to live it. That involves eliminating and rectifying many of burdensome (mostly career) choices I have made in the past that may very well have plagued my life up to this point.

My means of accomplishing the piecing of this latest puzzle I speak of figuratively has not been all that pretty or friendly lately, but I have to crawl through shit to come out clean on the other side and see the brighter light up ahead. There are some significant changes for B-Money that lie ahead. This probably makes very little sense to all of you, but it makes perfect sense to me. Soon I will post an update that is more comprehensive and understandable to the general public.

Obama speaks in 100th day prime time press conference tomorrow night!

Fox New refuses to televise, in what I believe will only hurt the Republican party even more!

President Obama is scheduled to speak in yet another prime time news conference tomorrow night, which marks the president's first 100 days in office. Obama is expected to outline exactly what he has done through the first 100 days, which include the signing of the Economy Recovery and Investment Act of 2009, the G-20 Summit in London aimed to pull the world out of this recession, and his visits overseas to American troops in Iraq as well as his controversial handshake with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.

Let me get this straight for you people. Obama didn't invite Chavez over to the White House for dinner. He didn't play golf with Chavez. He didn't have drinks with Chavez, or allow Chavez to babysit the kids while he and Michelle went out for a hot night on the town. No! He shook his hand and accepted a book from him. That's it. No need to blow shit out of proportion. Keep your friends close, but your enemies even closer. What you might call the acceptance of an enemy's book a weakness, I call smart thinking as well as a reserved eagerness to learn more about the enemy!

What amuses me is that Fox News, largely dominated by right wing conservative broadcasting, refuses to cover the news conference. Even though conservative extremists like Sean Hannity do not agree (do not agree is a vast understatement) with the judgments and decisions of President Obama, the network's job is to broadcast the news whether or not they agree or disagree with the content. Choosing not to cover the President's press conference can not possibly help a desperate Republican party that clearly lost ground after their candidate's poorly contested race for the presidency last fall as well as the outcome of the election. Furthermore, Fox's stubbornness in this matter can be construed as a poor strategy to sway independent and undecided voters in the Republican party's favor when November of 2012 rolls around.

Television news channels, such as CNN and MSNBC will be showing Obama's prime time press event live on their respective networks. CNN takes a more liberal approach with their news coverage, while MSNBC remains a bit more politically balanced. The more live, prime-time coverage President Obama gets on those networks, the more empowered he will become as we delve deeper and deeper into his presidency. Since Fox News won't be showing the press conference, the entire country will be watching it on those two networks. A politician's reputation will usually shine brighter to the average independent voter when his speeches are cast through a positive bright light rather than a negative dark light or not at all. Keep in mind that President Obama currently has an approval rating of about 63% right now (highest approval rating at the 100 day mark for a United States President in 20 years!), which is only a single percentage point below that of what he had after the first couple weeks.

You would think if these right wings are eager to get this man out of office in 2012, and they firmly believe he's socializing the country and stealing from the piggy banks of these little brats, that their representation would show it to the world wide audience to encourage them who NOT to vote for. If you're Fox News, wouldn't you elect to show your extreme right-wing Sean Hannity wannabes of America additional bull things that Mr. Obama is 'supposedly saying and doing wrong' rather than hiding it by not covering it at all??? Perhaps their bitterness has sapped their energy or cognitive functionality to come up with anything else. It's only been a 100 days you assholes - We still got 3 years and 8 months to go!! The way things are going right now, there's a chance it will be 7 years and 8 months!!!

Get your shit together, Fox News. Of course I never accused those bitter, right wing douche bags of having any common sense. President Obama is The Man. As a proud supporter, I am looking forward to hearing what President Obama has to say tomorrow night.

If you can't B-Money, then you just can't be serious. I sense I'm progressing closer and closer to that point when I'll finally be able to get a place - perhaps a nice studio house or apartment!

After a lovely weekend down at the shore in Atlantic City and Lavallette respectively, we are back to yet another work week. Another week of making paper. Another week of staying focused, giving 110%, and coming correct rather than not at all. If you can't B-Money, then you just can't be serious. It's true. I established at the beginning of the year that this year was going to be about the hustle and building upon the foundation that I established for myself last year. I sense I'm progressing closer and closer to that point when I'll finally be able to get a place - like a nice studio house or apartment. For the time being, I continue to bank money, pay bills, and enjoy some leisurely activities on the weekends that I am fortunate enough to be a part of.

Frankly I just don't have time for folks who take it in their liberty to pass judgment, constantly inquire about my lifestyle, what I do, who I am, and knocking me for being a douche. I just don't have the time, as I simply have way too much on my plate at this moment. Therefore, I have been laying rather low key and giving my best effort to do B-Money and do FOR B-Money because the greatest investment one can make is in one's self. I have also been maintaining a pretty solid budget that I created for myself, and as a result of this budget, I'm able to spend pretty comfortably and save a substantial amount of my income at the same time. With every two weeks that go by, I continue to build a nice little nest egg for myself.

I'm the type of guy who will do my very best to help a family member or even friend sometimes when they are financially struggling in a time of need. When I've been in a position to have to borrow money from someone (quite rare due to the fact that I do not feel comfortable doing so; don't like to have to pay someone back), I've paid back the money that I borrowed from that person - mostly family. Don't get me wrong ladies and gentlemen, I figured I had a long road ahead of me to make people believe I'm not a total douche.

Being looked down upon, or being diagnosed with ridiculous illnesses from one who retains a position as a receptionist is not something I'm prepared to take seriously, considering the source that the diagnosis is coming from. That does nothing to speed up my efforts to proof that I am not a douche. It does nothing at all. Nothing against receptionists, but their job descriptions are far cries - extremely far cries - from having the resources and acumen to diagnose others with mental illnesses. I'd like to think that I am pretty reasonable; the type of dude who is nice to you if you are nice to me. I don't like trouble. I don't like problems, but if there is something that I decide to challenge, question, or even disagree with, I will open my mouth about it and speak up! There are some who just can't handle it. Too bad.

To sum everything up, B-Money's breaking necks and cashing checks (Will Ferrell as Brennan Huff in Step Brothers). B-Money will be making an appearance at Miami Mike's Sports Zone in East Hanover this Saturday night to watch Pacquiao vs. Hatton. That's a battle between Pacquiao, the best Pound for Pound fighter in the world, and Hatton, the 140lb world champion. Clearly this is the biggest fight of 2009. This is a fight that boxing fans all over the world are looking forward to. It's East vs. West; kind of reminds me of the whole Rocky vs. Ivan Drago type of scenario - another battle pitting East and West against each other. Hope to see some familiar faces at Miami Mike's on Cinco De Mayo weekend for this big mega fight.

Beanie's birthday celebration was an enjoyable one on what was a gorgeous day that probably reached temperatures of at least mid 80s. As you saw in the videos, we did pay a visit to the loved, adored, and very dearly missed Richard Stockton College of NJ. Due to an eagerly awaited excursion to Atlantic City, our visit at Stockton was reasonably brief as we took a short walk around the campus where the new apartments in Housing V stand.

Originally we had intended to go to P.F. Chang's for dinner, but it turned out they were booked until 11pm with reservations, which is to be expected on a Saturday night in Atlantic City, so we changed up our dinner plans. We had a big party of twelve, which goes to show you how popular the Beanster is. Greg Root met us at Tangos at the Quarter in the Tropicana. Beanie's former Stockton roommate Shannon also came to join us, along with her guy friend whose name I regretfully forget (sorry!) There was a place called the Country Kitchen on the boardwalk, which looked pretty decent in terms of the food on the menu as well as the prices, so we made that our dinner spot. The food was awesome; I ended up getting a Aztec Quesadilla Burger and that hit the spot.

Shortly after dinner, we all went to this novelty shop where some of the folks in the group bought shot glasses, mugs, or whatever floated their boat. Jack bought like three shot glasses. Chris and I decided to ride back to the shore house in Lavallette with Greg, so we left AC while the remainder of the group stayed to indulge the Atlantic City resort ambiance for just a bit longer. Driving into Lavallette on the way back to the shore house, the three of us stopped off at a liquor store to purchase a few more beverages. Greg got a six pack of Michelob Amber Bock, while I bought a six pack of Guinness Drought and a couple mini bottles of Tangeray so I could make myself a couple glasses of Tangeray and 7up (great drink by the way, for any of you who may not have tried it yet!). Once we returned to the shore house, a hungry Greg ordered a sausage and mushrooms pizza pie from this pizza parlor on the island called The Oven.

About an hour after Greg, Chris, I made it back to the shore house, Ray, Mel, Jack, Mike, Angie, and Beanie returned as well. At that time, we opened the birthday cake and prepped it with candles for Beanie's birthday serenade. Shortly thereafter, Beanie parted ways with us to head back up North. I didn't have any pizza, but I did have a piece of that delicious ice cream cake and also made a late night walk to Wawa to get a cheese steak with Ray, Mel, Mike, and Jack when they returned from Atlantic City.

To cap off what was an amazing day as well as a stroll down memory lane at Stockton, we watched the original 2007 direct to video film Superman:Doomsday. Not necessarily from intoxication but more so exhaustion, I passed in a sitting position while watching the movie. What can I say? It was a long day, but one that I thoroughly enjoyed!

Apparently today is supposed to be just as nice, if not nicer, than yesterday was in terms of the weather. Looking out the screened windows next to me and noticing that's the case, this might be my first day on the beach tanning in bathing trunks. We're not even in the month of May yet! I'm loving it all. Time for this hot boy to add some color to his complexion. Gotta have that complexion to create affection.

Everytime I go back to Stockton for a visit, it seems they've built something new or added something to the campus.

Upon leaving work yesterday afternoon, I headed straight down to Mike's shore house in Lavallette. Once I arrived, I noticed that Chris and his friend were at the house. Mike had not yet arrived. The three of us hung out for a bit, before Mike eventually made his way to the shore house. Today is a gorgeous day that will probably be at least 80 degrees. No better day to go to Stockton and Atlantic to celebrate Beanie's birthday than today. It looks like we will be going to P.F. Chang's at the Quarter in the Tropicana for lunch. Right now Mike, Angela, Ray, Mel, Chris, Jack and I are here at the shore house. We'll probably get a little breakfast at Wawa and take a walk across Rt. 35 over the beach before we hit the road for P-town and AC. Greg Root is going to meet up with all of us at Stockton, while Beanie and her boyfriend will be joining us in AC for the festivities. This day feels like summer and I could not be happier about that. I'm just happy to be back down here in this beautiful area and I'm thrilled that we will be returning to our old stomping grounds - stomping grounds that I called home for four of the best years of my life. Let the good times roll. Roll, they will.

Saturday was the unofficial Memorial Day!

Yesterday marked what I like to call the unofficial Memorial Day, as Memorial Day is the unofficial beginning of summer and yesterday felt like a summer day. With temperatures reaching a high of 76 degrees, it was the perfect day to be outside. I woke up pretty early yesterday morning; a little after 9AM I would say. Around noon I decided to treat myself to lunch at Panera. I ordered a cup of Creme of Broccoli soup and a 1/2 Caesar Salad. Afterwards I drove to 7-11 and purchased myself a slurpee. Nothing like taking care of yourself, huh? LOL. Both the lunch and slurpee were quite enjoyable. Later in the afternoon I decided to go for a walk around town to embrace and take advantage of such a gorgeous day. While D-town is by no means scenic, there are still plenty of streets and neighborhood blocks to walk through.

After walking for about an hour, I arrived back home only to hear the shouting of my nickname, "B-Money!" It was Billy D, sitting on Duane's porch down the street, chanting my name and asking me to come over. Duane has been one of our neighbors for years and Bill used to work with him at Enablx, so I walked over to Duane's house to sit down with them and talk for a few minutes. As it turned out, a few minutes turned into a few hours and we all decided to order pizza and buy more booze. LOL. Duane's buddy Lenny was also there with his cute little six year old daughter Ariana. She was adorable. Hell of a scene from her view point I would imagine, being in the presence of four lushes, but we all behaved appropriately under the influence of the alcohol and she seemed to handle it pretty well and was constantly smiling regardless.

We ordered a pepperoni pie and a buffalo chicken pie from M&S II, which I went to pick up for us being that the others were too drunk to drive and I wasn't that drunk yet. On my way to M&S II, I stopped off at the Shop rite Liquors in Rockaway to buy a 12 pack of Labatt Blue along with ... *drum roll* a six pack of Sam Adams Summer Ale!!! Yes, Sam Adams Summer Ale is already on the market, months before the official start of the summer season. The Summer Ale has to be one of my top five favorite beers, so I picked that up as well so the guys could try it out if they had not already had it. When I got back to Duane's, we all enjoyed the pizza and beer and had a nice little chat for a few hours. Beautiful day and beautiful summer weather. I was quite pleased.

Today is not as warm or sunny, but it's certainly livable. As long as it is not raining (which might happen a little later because it's cloudy), snowing, and I'm not freezing my ass off, I'm alright. Nice weather, like we enjoyed yesterday, is a bonus and I am eagerly anticipating more where that came from when June and July hit us. We're less than a week away from Beanie's big birthday celebration in Atlantic City. From what I understand, we will probably be going to the Quarter in the Tropicana, which is a nice resort with many different stores, restaurants, and a beautiful casino. As you may or may not know, P.F. Chang's at the Tropicana is my former place of employment, but they serve delicious Chinese food and there is a chance we'll all be having lunch there.

A trip to Stockton is also in the works, as we'll likely spend at least an hour walking around and checking out the new on-campus apartments, reminiscing about the good old legendary college days we once enjoyed at the wonderful Pomona campus we called home for four years of our lives. Dinner at Galloway Diner is also a possibility, depending on the time that we have. Other than spending Saturday in Atlantic City, the rest of the weekend will be spent at Mike's shore house in Lavallette. On Friday night, we'll probably go to Hemingways in Seaside. If the weather is nice on Sunday, we'll most likely spend some time on the beach at Ocean Beach, which is blocks away from Mike's shore house.

Overall, I expect fun and exciting birthday weekend for Beanie. Plenty of pictures and videos from what is expected to be a sensational weekend will be taken and posted. Summer will soon be upon us and I can not wait for its arrival.

From Good Friday through Saturday, we saw cloudy skies and pouring rain for the most part. Today, it is fitting that the sun has finally come out. The Almighty has risen, and the sun is shinning bright on this beautiful Easter Sunday. My mother cooked a delicious ham along with mashed potatoes and corn. She also color dyed some eggs. Happy Easter everyone!

The Easter and Passover holiday weekend is upon us, but it remains a rainy weekend. It usually rains on Good Friday, though, and for good reason. Today is another wet one outside, but I suppose the rainy is necessary. I will gladly accept rain before snow any day of the week and twice on Sunday, as we need the rain to help the plants and trees grow and get ready to welcome summer which is on it's way about two months from now. Rainy is essential at this time, but it still doesn't feel that nice to have the cloudy skies spitting down at you! LOL.

Tonight is yet another fight night on HBO, as middleweights Paul Williams and Winky Wright will square off in a 12 round affair at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, NV. William, 27, is ten years Wright's junior and has been active in the ring, fighting all comers from 147lbs to 160lbs. Wright has been inactive since his July 2007 unanimous decision loss to then-light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins. I'll be watching this fight on television at home, but I look forward to making another visit to Miami Mike's on May 2 for the Pacquiao vs. Hatton 140lb super fight which will be televised on HBO PPV. Lets see... has anybody heard about Prince's latest album 'MPLSoUND'? Well it includes a song in which he reveals his attraction and admiration for actress Selma Hayek by addressing her daughter Valentina. The main lyrics in the song are, "Hey, Valentina, tell your mama she should give me a call. When she gets tired of running after you down the hall." That would probably come off as creepy if the average Joe were to make such a statement, but this is Prince we're talking about here. He's just a little eccentric and we could probably come to expect those types of lyrics from him, although he is an admired and respected performer in the music industry. I can't blame him either for attraction to Hayek. Prince has my kind of taste; Hayek is definitely one hot piece!

Other than that, I'm just taking it easy as this spring unfolds and I'm looking forward to the events that are yet to happen in the upcoming weeks and months. Stay tuned for more news in the coming days and have a Happy Holiday!

Beanie's 25th birthday celebration April 25 in Atlantic City;

We had a beautiful day today, and now we have a nice balmy Thursday evening. Days are gradually getting longer and longer, which is what I like to see around this time of the year. The month of April is upon is and we have the Beanie birthday celebration scheduled for April 25 in Atlantic City. I am eagerly awaiting my upcoming return to Atlantic City.

Last time I was there, Mike, Greg, Chris, and I took a day trip down there on New Years Day to spend some time in the casinos at the Tropicana as well as to have dinner at Hooters. A meal at the Galloway Diner as well as walk around the campus at Stockton for nostalgic value are also in the works. The following weekend on May 2, I'll be going to Miami Mike's for the much anticipated Pacquiao vs. Hatton PPV fight.

Back in December on the night of the Pacquiao vs. De la hoya fight, the ring card girl in the bikini was fucking hot and I hope to catch similar eye candy at the sports zone on Cinco De Mayo weekend, as well as the great 140lb mega fight between East and West and my enjoyable consumption of some tasty adult beverages. Yes indeed ladies and gentlemen, this is certainly a spring with events to look forward to.

B-Money WINS APPLES TO APPLES, the game everybody else in the group loves and adores, and a game of bowling!

As you can see clearly, I was not lying to you about the videos. There are plenty of pictures of videos. Last night I won our game of Apples to Apples (not one of my favorite games, but I take all victories in a practically exaggerated stride, and rightfully so!), as well as the second game of bowling that we played at the Brunswick bowling alley in Lakewood. LOL. My score was 100. Mike, Greg, Angie, Chris, and I played two games. Ray and Mel sat on the side lines and watched us, being that they had given blood earlier in the day and didn't feel like throwing bowling balls. That's understandable, though. Mike won the first game by a score of 109. Overall in the two games combined, Mike finished at first place with a total of 190. I finished at second place with a total of 176. After that, I believe it was Greg, Angie, and then Chris finishing respectively in 3rd, 4th, and 5th place. Everybody bowled valiantly, but it was all in good fun. After bowling, we all went to the Chinese restaurant on the island for dinner. I had one of my favorite dishes, General Chang's Chicken with white rice as well as Hot and Sour soup. Dinner was delicious. Fudgy the Whale made for an amazing dessert (Chris's birthday ice cream cake); I am half way tempted to pick one up for myself and just pretend that it's my birthday today. LOL. Ray's cake, the cookie cake, was pretty good as well. I'm getting a little hungry here, so it is time to head out to Bayside Cafe for breakfast.

When the rest of the world and nation are suffering hardships and working to get back on track, sometimes that is the precise moment for us to piece together the puzzles of our individual and respective lives.

In about twenty minutes, B-Money will tune into CNN to watch President Obama's latest news and views in regards to the recession and how we are going to dig ourselves out of this financial and economic crisis that we are in. These days it is essential to stay informed on such matters, so I will take the time to watch the president's prime-time press conference live. President Obama is serious about the wide array of responsibilities that he faces in the White House, as am I with the tasks and objectives that lie on my respective plate.

First of all, I'd like point out that I'm looking forward to the birthday celebrations upcoming. I respect each and every one of them and will contribute to making sure Ray, Chris, and Beanie enjoy their respective birthday celebrations. I'm also looking forward to the summer with great anticipation, as well as working with best friend and house mate Billy D to clean the pool, prepare it for suitable and healthy swimming conditions, and have it ready for the summer.

Sometimes in life, we fail to make a beautiful picture for ourselves because we have not yet gathered all of the pieces necessary to form the picture. When the rest of the world and nation are suffering hardships and working to get back on track, sometimes that is the precise moment for us to piece together the puzzles of our individual and respective lives. Recently I was offered two different opportunities to do telephone interviews with two separate companies that viewed me as a fit for reasonably high paying positions (with excellent benefits) that they had open.

Do not get it twisted, ladies and gentlemen; I am doing my thing right now and B-Money is definitely getting money, but I already had one successful phone interview with the one company, I will be going on a 2nd in-person interview for testing, all in the highly determined aim of elevating my own status by making even more money in a higher position with greater responsibility, so I can move out on my own at the end of the year or early next year.

Yeah I realize I have said this time and time again, almost to the point where it seems like I'm just a broken record that will not stop playing. Same song repeated over and over again, right? Well time, maturity, and life's experiences can change the minds and focus of many. My intentions in the present and future are to come correct and come 110%, or else I'm not coming at all [dirty interjection: "yeah that's what she said" --- LOL. but hey, it's true!]. From now on, I will do my best to live up to those sentiments. I won't settle for anything less than what I deserve. I eagerly await what is going to be in the next month or so. Just over the past week I've had much to be enthusiastic about, I know what I am worth, and I expect to receive and live up to at least THAT much.

At this moment, I'm just biding my time, saving my money wisely, and I fully intend to enjoy this summer upcoming. My short term plans for the first half of the year are to maintain a financially wise and stable lifestyle under the current economic circumstances, enjoy myself down at the shore as well as up here in D-town with the pool throughout the summer, and some awesome pool parties involving friends from all backgrounds and locations. Stay tuned my family, friends, and fans - as there will be more to come in the days ahead from your boy B-Money, the one and only forever.

Spring has finally sprung!

The weather is nice out today; it's still a little bit chilly but it's bearable. Last night I watched Roy Jones's March Madness PPV card televised from Pensacola, FL, featuring Jones's fifth round TKO of Omar Sheika, as well as some other Mixed Martial Arts and boxing contests. Fortunately I was able to catch a live stream on sports network site, sparing me the expense of paying $29.95 to order the event and watch it on TV.

When I woke up this morning, I helped Billy D clear our front porch/balcony of the old carpets that used to cover the floor downstairs. I also picked up some of the garbage that was lying in the front yard and threw it away in the trash. Upon cutting up and piling up the pieces of carpet, we loaded up the back of Bill's father's Dodge Durango and dumped the excess garbage at a dumpster in East Hanover. Bill and Lindsay's families are having a baby shower for Bill's sister Leigh Ann, who is expecting a girl, so Bill headed out for the day as did I in order to allow them some time and space to enjoy their little party. Perhaps later this afternoon, Bill and I will get a bite to eat at M&S II.

Spring is finally here, and the weather is getting warmer as I said earlier, but I am definitely looking forward to going down to Lavallette this coming weekend to celebrate the birthdays of Ray and Chris. According to Mike, we'll probably be heading out to Blackbeard's Cave in Bayville for some paint balling on Saturday. On Friday night, Mike, Chris, and I intend to go to Hemingway's. Greg hasn't been all that fond of going out, or taking part in the club scene as of late, but we're going to drag him out with us whether he likes it or not. He must learn to come out with us and live a little.

Prior to my trip down to Lavallette on Friday evening, I must remember to make a stop at the Bindiya in Parsippany to get my hair cut and eyebrows threaded. What I can say? It is incumbent on me to maintain my healthy and handsome physical appearance, especially if I'm going to be heading out to a club on Friday night.

That's basically it right now. I'm enjoying the warmer temperatures as well as spending some leisurely time outdoors. We spend three or four months of the year couped up inside the house throughout the winner, so when spring shows it's pretty face, it is necessary that I get my ass outside. Although it looks like it is about to rain, so I better make sure my sun roof is closed!

This is B-Money coming to you in text format, as opposed to video format, on this mild March Thursday evening. Hopefully you liked the videos that I posted earlier from St. Patrick's Day in New York City. That was only part one of a three part post featuring all of the videos from that beautiful day. I'm glad Ray had a good time as well as a Happy Birthday, being that St Patrick's Day was also his 27th birthday, which we all celebrated over dinner and green beer at Bubba Gumps in Time Square.

What I am now looking forward to with great anticipation is Chris Milek's much anticipated birthday weekend. On the weekend of March 27-29, a number of us will be returning to the infamous Lavallette shore house for Mr. Milek's 30th birthday celebration. This is a birthday of great significance because it is the celebration of a 30th birthday and 30 is a major landmark, so we are going to thoroughly enjoy throwing this bash for Chris. Due to the fact that only Mel, Mike, and I saw Ray on his birthday a couple days ago, the celebration taking place next weekend will be a dual birthday celebration for both Ray and Chris. Hopefully we'll be hitting up Hemingways in Seaside and making our way to the boardwalks in Point Pleasant as well as Seaside throughout that weekend. I'm praying for weather the likes of which we enjoyed when we were down there a few weeks ago at the beginning of the month.

Tonight I will be watching the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, as the guest on Leno's show will be none other than President Barack Obama. Obama, who made history when he became the first Afro American president of United States a couple months ago, will once again do so as the first sitting U.S. President ever to appear as a guest on a late night chat show. I definitely want to hear the latest from Obama in terms of the stimulus package, the greed of the executives AIG, and the increase in unemployment as well as the increase in job cuts throughout the country. Thanks to the House of Representatives voting for a 90% levy on the $165 million in AIG bonus money (really Federal bailout money, in all likelihood) that went to executives, those greedy motherfuckers are going to have to return most of that money.

This is the type of greed and incompetence that contributed to the downfall - a downfall that is still ongoing - of our economy. Since when do companies reward their executives for incompetence???? They sure as hell did not ask for a bailout because of the company's exceptional job performance! That is all at this time. Stay tuned for more, as we approach spring as well as the dual birthday celebration upcoming in Lavallette.

NYC St. Patricks Day videos - Part I

The following videos are my arrival in NYC, coming directly out of Penn Station by Madison Square Garden, as well as our little trip to Toys R Us in Time Square, where we saw the big Jurassic Park T-Rex. Sequences from the parade are also included in the video coverage from Tuesday. I also learned that the train by Pub 66 in D-town also takes you to Penn Station in NYC, so hopefully I'll be making it out to some fights that will be taking place at Madison Square Garden in the near future. As I mentioned in the first video across the street from the Garden, WBO titlist Miguel Cotto will probably be fighting IBF champion Joshua Clottey at MSG on June 13, in what will be a WBO/IBF welterweight title unification, on the weekend of the Puerto Rican Day Parade. On St. Patricks Day a couple of days ago, I went to St. Patrick's Day parade in New York City with Mike, Ray, and Mel. Upon determining that it would be easier to go into the city with them rather than meeting them there, I elected to drive down to Edison early in the morning to meet Mike at his house, before Ray's mother came with Ray and Mel to pick us up at Mike's house. We took the train into NY from Metro Park and arrived at Pennsylvania Station, directly below Madison Square Garden, at about 9:55 AM.

Overall, I had a super sensational time in NYC; the weather gorgeous and the entire day was well spent. From Time Square, to Central Park, to the St. Patrick's Day parade, I basked in the amusement and fascination of my ominous return to the Big Apple. After all, it had been about a year and a half since my last appearance in NYC. There are plenty of pictures and videos yet to be posted here at Blog of Bryan. I have some great times when I come down here. This just happened to be a random weekend. Not a birthday. Not Memorial Day weekend. Not Labor Day weekend. Certainly not New Years Eve. It was just a celebration of life that was very much necessary. We couldn't have picked a better weekend to do this as far as weather goes.

Greg Root's "punyeta" wake up call!

Earlier this morning, we did the sequel to the pots and pans wake up call that Greg was fortunate to experience last month. Instead of pots and pans, we all screamed punyeta at the top of our lungs. What does that mean? All I know is I chanted punyeta through the streets of Seaside, and even screamed punyeta when we went into the Wawa in Normandy, just because I felt like it! Back in Lavallette for random Celebration of life weekend

I'm back in Lavallette, having the time of my life as usual with some of the best people I've ever associated with. Jack Horowitz picked me up from my house around 6:30 PM and we arrived at Mike's beach house at around 8PM. We're just having some drinks and hanging out prior to our anticipated Friday evening at Hemingways in Seaside. Jack, Greg, and I each had a Phillies Perfecto cigar outside. Shortly there after, Ray and Mel graced us with their welcome presence. Check out the video of tonight's festivities thus far!

Another weekend is just about to show its pretty self, but this is a weekend is that has been fore casted to reach temperatures in the 60s and 70s. Such beautiful weather is long over due, so I'm delighted that I will be heading down with Jack Horowitz to Lavallette to get together with Mike, Angela, Greg Root, Ray, Mel, and perhaps Beanie along with her new boyfriend Chris.

This weekend, which I view as a type of sanctuary to some extent, is going to be a terrific escape from normal everyday life as well as the disturbing and unfortunate news about the economy that we read and watch on a daily basis. How long can one read about massive layoffs and continuously contracting recession, before one acknowledges the need to briefly get away from the madness? Such escapes are necessarily, albeit for a short period of time.

Throughout this weekend, which B-Money referred to as the Celebration of Life earlier this week, I anticipate a Friday night trip to Hemingways in Seaside, as well as some leisurely boardwalk time. Hopefully the weather is gorgeous and I see some beautiful women wearing shorts accenting their voluptuous asses. Ohhhhhhhhhh yea! Ladies, if we are indeed blessed with warm weather this weekend, feel free to reveal some flesh by all means! Certainly, I could use the thrill. Along with seeing beautiful girlies strutting around with their cute little shapes, I also wouldn't mind walking down the boardwalks of Seaside and/or Point Pleasant and NOT freezing my ass off for the first time this year!

I'm glad that I'll be traveling down with Jack, who is randomly reemerging it seems and getting back into the loop of the Stockton alumni that I associated with throughout the years! We'll be having a couple drinks and cigars, most likely Black and Milds, just to cool out for a while. Provided that temperatures live up to this weekend's weather forecast, I might even have me a cigar out on the beach at night with friends of mine.

There's no question that these are some tough times that we are currently going through in the United States, but I am just about ready to break away from all of that negativity. Give me this weekend which I believe has the potential to be something warranted as well as special, and then I'm returning larger than life next week - refreshed; bigger and better than ever!!!

Low key Lavallette getaway upcoming next weekend!

There was a terrific lightweight championship fight that took place this past weekend between champion Juan Manuel Marquez and Juan Diaz. Marquez emerged victorious, stopping Diaz in nine rounds in what was a classic fight. Be sure to check out Boxing Chronicles for a greater, in-depth analysis of what happened in that fight.

Well ladies and gentlemen, a new week is upon us but I am looking forward to next weekend. I'll be taking a trip down to the Lavallette on Saturday to hang out with Mike, Chris, Angela, Greg, and brace yourselves for this one .... *drum roll*.... Jack Horowitz!! Yes indeed, Mr. Jack will be carpooling down to Lavallette with yours truly on Saturday, so that should make for a pretty entertaining and enjoyable weekend. It will be a weekend that I go back to the basics of life's enjoyment and purpose, in what can be described as a momentary escape from the harsh reality of this country's current economic status.

Lavallette is my type of town, located on the outskirts of Seaside Heights. I love Wawa. I love Little Mias, the Italian restaurant/pizza parlor that we have gone to for dinner on a number of occasions. We'll probably be going there for dinner on Saturday night, so I am definitely looking forward to that.

Basically, I'm anticipating some quality time smoking a cigar or two, have a couple drinks, heading out to the boardwalk provided that the weather is ideal for such activity, and just taking it easy on a low key weekend with some great people. As of late, I've been a bit of a negative Nancy to some extent, product of reading and watching all of the wonderful things (obviously sarcasm)that I see in the news every single day. There comes a time when one needs an escape from all of that horse shit, even if it's for a brief period of time, and get back to what makes one happy and taking part in activities that surround one's self with positive energy.

To summarize the basis of this post, this coming weekend is an appropriate time as any to hang out with some of my closest companions and have some intelligent, leisurely, and even some comical conversations in the process. There will be plenty of videos and pictures taken throughout that weekend.

Story of a mother with no control for her little brat.

Just the other day, I was sitting at a computer in the library on my leisure playing a computer game when a little girl came up to the computer next to me. She was there with her mother, but she walked up to the computer by herself.

About a minute or two later, her mother found her and urged her to go downstairs with her to the children's section of the library. Objecting to her mother's request, the little girl maintained her position at the computer next to me. I shit you not, this mother must have asked this girl about 108 times to go down stairs, but this girl who must have been no older than five years of age simply refused.

At one point, the desperate mother placed her hand on the keyboard in a failed attempt to end the child's activity, but the girl screamed, "stop, you need to stop". What a nerve! The mother, complying with this little brat's instructions, ended her attempts to pry the girl away from the computer. Furthermore, she chose to inquire about what the girl was doing and what she was typing, suggesting "that's not how you spell that, honey."

After failing to be an authority figure to her daughter, she even tried to provide an incentive to go downstairs (rather than a reprimand for not going right away, when requested) by implying, "you know what? Eddie such and such is downstairs too. We can go see him". The little brat replies, "no he's not staying down there, he's coming up here to join me."

Aimlessly looking around the library at the attendants as well as the visitors, this mother was completely lost and had absolutely no fucking clue as to how to discipline this child. She even looked over at me and said, "that's an interesting way to use a computer. Playing some computer games, huh?" I simply looked up at her, grinned, and thought to myself, "that is an interesting way to discipline your daughter - pleading rather than instructing."

This had to have gone on and on for about fifteen minutes, when the little girl - not the mother - decided it was time to go downstairs. It was as if the two of them were on the little girl's time rather than the mother's. Shocking lack of authority!!! I can not decide whether or not it was disturbing or mildly amusing. Amusing for me, but certainly disturbing for that little girl and her mother.

Random Sunday night thoughts: Valentine's Day, President's Day, Obama, and more!

Yeah, it's currently 11:39 PM and I am more awake than usual late on this Sunday evening. Perhaps that is because tomorrow is President's Day and work is closed. Additionally, Ghost Rider starring Nicholas Cage is on Encore, so I'm watching a little bit of that. That's the same Ghost Rider movie Raph and Beanie loved so much when we went to see it in the theater! *sarcasm, in case you didn't pick up on it*

Valentine's Day came and went for all of you incurable romantics. Cupid shot his arrows, many of you chicks got your candy, teddy bears, jewelry, Hallmark treasures, and all of that good jazz. The concept of love, an emotion not so easy to universally define, is whatever you make of it. A wise man once said "We fall in love when our imagination projects nonexistent perfection upon another person. One day, the fantasy evaporates and with it, love dies." Logic dictates that if I'm in love with a special someone, I love them everyday.

I certainly would not need to pick a random freezing cold February day in which to funnel all of that love! In any case, I guess Valentine's Day is a 'cute' holiday for all of the couples it brings happiness to. Maybe one of these days, B-Money will once again find a suitable significant other worthy of sharing this mysteriously loving February day. LOL. Now that the day has in fact been over for almost 48 hours, it is time to look forward to the spring as well as St. Patrick's Day.

Mike will be driving up to D-town to see me tomorrow. Beanie, Mike, and I plan on going to Ruby Tuesdays at the Ledgewood Mall and then Cliffs Ice Cream afterwards. Who knows, maybe we'll even go see a movie at some point throughout the day. Quite a way to spend President's Day, isn't it?

While we are on the topic of presidents, President Obama is set to sign his economic stimulus bill, which recently passed through the House as well as the Senate, on Tuesday. You have to love the people who voted for McCain, continuously dog Obama for his inexperience or the fact that they just do not care for him, but are more than ready and willing to accept the stimulus check that they are going to receive without crediting President Obama for his hard work and dedication to get such a deal passed and signed.

One of these days, many of you thoughtless skeptics are going to reach deep down within your wisdom [if you happen to have any at all] and smell the coffee before you judge or make the choices that you make based on your misconstrued judgements.

Best day of the year in 2009 thus far, as temperatures reached the sixties. Gorgeous day today; certainly a far cry from the freezing temperatures we have been feeling in the teens and twenties. It was refreshing to walk on the boardwalk without a winter jacket and breathe in the fresh air.

I'm down in Lavallette once again, this time for Mike Milek's birthday celebration. Happy birthday Mike! I made my way down here yesterday evening and got the shore house around 8PM. We watched Step Brothers: Unrated Version, which was my gift to Mike for his birthday. Those currently here are Mike, Angela, Chris, Greg, and I. Later today, we'll be heading up to New Brunswick to spend an evening at the Stress Factory Craig Fitzimmons. Throughout this weekend, there will be a number of pictures and videos that will be posted to the Blog of Bryan. B-Money is live and in full effect on this Mikey Milek birthday weekend. Morristown struck by earthquake moments ago!

A 2.9 earthquake hits Morristown, NJ!

About half an hour ago, I was woken up from a relatively deep sleep to the sound of a gigantic bang that totally shook the house. Nobody in town knew what it was. In an attempt to find out, we called the police but the police did not have an answer. I got dressed and walked outside to find the neighbors standing out in the street as well, looking just as confused as I was. After coming back inside and seeing the Channel 4 news, it was discovered an earthquake had just hit Morristown. Reporters said it was anywhere from a 2.9 to a 3.5. That's absolutely insane. That's the kind of news and type of natural disaster that we usually hear about in California or somewhere out there in the West Coast. Earthquakes in NJ??????! Perhaps that could have something to do with the weather being much warmer than usual the last couple days? Who knows. Maybe it will be bring some good luck! All joking aside, hopefully everyone is safe and can go back to sleep again - which is exactly where I am about to go. Good night everyone.
